Soonest UNITY BANK will be the toast of many INVESTORS for many months...

Expect the unbelievable. Take position once suspension is lifted...

GenerationalWealth might be loading in the COY

It's going to be another bank that FGN will have special interest in especially in the area of farming...

Bulaba will do all he can not to disappoint the north because of 2027... Many Northerns are heavily invested in that COY so nothing negative will happen there...

Write this down somewhere...

Few will take positions but many will queue up to have a taste of unity but by then it will be above #5... Just look at the transformation of WEMA... The possibility of UNITY getting to #10 is just matter of Mr Time and the profitability of the coy

Read my past chats about how I kept shouting g"amble Oando" in the past when it was trading at sub #6

The beauty of this game is get in early and start exiting when the MM are now involved maybe you can lock some parts of your profits with them until they are done with their games

A new dawn is here for UNITY BANK... No longer business has usual

What do you think the new bank will be called Unity or Providus? Either way don't you think they will have to do a restructuring including a share restructuring?

Don't you think the suspension is intentional for a CBN regulated bank? Usually banks that are defaulting go through a license withdrawal by CBN first.

The name UNITY will be retained as for the restructuring Mr Time will attend to that...

CBN will most likely have a strict oversight of the bank which is a huge plus for the shareholders and stakeholders

The suspension is a regulatory issue it's not peculiar to unity bank other companies are affected too. It's what the regulator (NGX) do to listed companies that fail to submit financial reports as at when due.
The issue of banking license is a different scenario

When I mention a paper loss, it doesn't mean I've lost my invested capital. Rather, it's a decline in unbooked profits. A 0.5% to 1% decline in the following stocks typically has a noticeable impact on my portfolio: Transcorp, Transpower, Transhotel, UBA, Afriprudential, and Zenith. This is due to my significant holding position in these stocks.

My brother, the WWE champion, the stock market has always had its business model similar to that of a casino. When someone is buying low, there is some person getting the low end of the stick in price. Same thing when someone is selling at a high price, some one is buying at a high price.

We must be able to discern this when the market gets erratic and noisy to enable us filter off the noise to see the real game on the board.

When these giys are playing chess, we must not be caught playing draughts but rather watching their strategies and moves to enable us take ours. Our main watch should be on the price of crude oil and other economic factors which usually bring forth signals on where the economy is going. 🙏🏽

Mergers are usually not an easy thing to go through especially when you consider integration. The Access Bank PLC and Diamond Bank PLC experiences still come to mind.

Examples are those Access-Diamond Bank accounts you see on bank apps showing they still maintain a slightly different nomenclature for those accounts.

Write-offs sef go plenty and they don't know the amount of dead legs that willnstick out which they will have to deal with over the years.

Even Stanbic IBTC, Chartered Bank and Regent Bank are still dealing with integration issues till date.

Like Senor MegaWealth has said, I feel it is good as a speculative play.

Going by this article. He said the new generation sees it like casino but I didn't see whr he approved it should be view so.And I didn't see whr he said you should now play the stock market like a casino. The get rich quick attitude. He still maintains his fundamental buying ideas. That is why he said know the business you are buying .That means the fundamentals of the business is very important

Thank you so much, I appreciate your support. I was recently denied access to NSEMPA and locked out by a moderator. I fully agree with your advice and plan to start taking profits when my portfolio reaches N500M, hopefully by 2025.

Because you don't rebalance your portfolio, I told you to book profit on Transcorp Hotel that the price does not make sense at over N100

Have you forgotten that United Capital was marked down, with your 600,000 units of UCAP that alone would reduce your portfolio value by about N10 million until the 1.2 million bonus shares are credited to your CSCS account .

Yes. Isn't it crazy? I still wonder why, at today's level of technology and speed of business, it takes so long for CSCS accounts to be credited with bonus shares.

NIGERIA is truly blessed

Many of these institutions should be generating their own power source and electricity for use within their environment rather than relying on government subvention and subsidies.

Their environments should be an ecosystem on its own. I don't see why UniLag should not have a ferry station and services from there to the Island?

Almost all Universities have massive land, water and economic resources that can be used for cash crops, food crops, water supply, housing, etc by generating power supply, food security, affordable housing, and planned towns through their various departments or faculties. I have always believed that economic and income activities (excluding subsidies on education) in Universities should be run by seasoned business and management experts with proven experience in the corporate world to enable them become sustainable.

Nobody is coming to have save Nigerians except themselves. If only most Nigerians could have a glimpse of what obtains abroad, the leaders won't be taking them for a ride and wasting resources.

UniLag has no business generating news like this. They have more than enough resources (human and material) to generate several billions every month to take care of their wants and needs.

You have to get rid of ASUU first. They are the ultimate leaches that believe everything has to come from government. If Unilag is a private university in the example you gave they would have built the ferry.

History has a way of repeating itself.
When the market has been bullish for a very long time, it is not uncommon for people to think that valuation doesn't really matter.
Everyone feels invisible and believes price will continue to go up for ever not minding the underlying status of the listed companies.
This is not new, it just the cycle that we are in, another cycle will come and story will change.

History of Nigerian market is not easily accessible on internet compared to us market

That is the problem,

A bubble like this might have occurred during 2008 but I can't seem to find precise records of stock prices during this period

And even if it is a bubble, calling the top might be tough - market might keep rallying throughout Tinubu 's 4 years till election period

No one knows what the market makers see as true value anymore.

I can't see anywhere he said his followers should play the market with the mindset of casino.
By my own understanding, he is asking people to be more circumspect and not get carried away with the chaos in the present day market where many see it as casino.

I've been calculating the numbers for my alma mater. With a current enrollment of 55,000 to 58,000 students, this translates to a conservative estimate of N18,200 in debt per student. This amount can be factored into each student's school fees.
18,200 x 55,000 = N1.001B.
The debt must be paid.

Many here have witnessed market cycle of boom and burst on the NSE.
What better way to learn than real life experience. I actually don't think the NSE is overvalued to be talking about bubbles, yes I believe some individual stocks are overvalued while some are undervalued.
And by the way,I was not only talking about NSE in my observation.
