⚡Taiwan's President Lai Ching-te argues "if China's claims on Taiwan are about territorial integrity, then China should also seek to take back land from Russia that was ceded by China's Qing dynasty in the 19th century." Lai stated that the Treaty of Aigun in 1858 saw China's Qing dynasty cede a vast tract of land in what is now Russia's far east to the Russian empire. He questioned why China does not seek to reclaim this land if its claims on Taiwan are truly about territorial integrity. Lai suggested China's real motivation for wanting to take control of Taiwan is not about territorial integrity, but rather about achieving hegemony in the international arena and the Western Pacific region. 1 Like

The fact that Nethanyahu thinks he can achieve anything in Gaza with force is amusing. Israel has stolen all of Palestinian land and thrown them into narrow strips of land like Gaza and the West Bank where there is literally nowhere else to go. Palestinians in Gaza are like wounded lions with their backs against the wall. Their battle against Israel is one of survival. They either die or they fight. And they chose to fight. If the Congress refuses to appropriate funds to sponsor rebels and militants which the POTUS will use to effect regime change abroad.
