Good evening, please is it possible for someone that has gotten a France visa before to be refused ? No overstay tho but just want to know if I can pay for flight before reapplying.
yes. It's 100 percent possible. I use my first visa. Got the second one didn't use it. Apply the 3rd one and was refused.

Hello @vozkini
I've had a similar experience. I used my first visa, but didn't use the second one. I've been denied a France visa three times since then and haven't been able to obtain one.
Did you submit another application after your third France visa rejection?

There is this "crase" amongst these vo.s ; if you get issued a visa once or twice and you dont use it , be rest assured of hammering the 3rd time unless your case is justifiable will you be pardoned.
vozkini:

I best believe visas are planned for before initial applications but for contingencies or change of plans, most people do not make these trips. It is however not the story on the other end as they seemingly see it as a waste of slot or supposed "quota" to those who needed it at that time.

In summary, apply for visas when one is most likely certain to travel or have a pressing desire or event then target certain seasons.

If you apply for vacation now against the ember months , there are higher chances of approvals.

This is me, wishing you all the best.

See you in the EMBER MONTHS

That's not true... he could write an email directly to the French embassy here in Nigeria referencing the application number and URN, and the email will be treated accordingly. I'm a living witness.

The crucial part is writing a convincing appeal email with genuine intentions and the refusal will be overturned.

Good morning sir, you said if one is denied he/she email directly to french Embassy in Nigeria referencing the application number and URN...my question now is what is URN...

Hi @Abikeadebey
Could you please provide me with the list of documents you submitted along with your application?
Which type of France visa did you apply for - Business or Tourist?
Were the documents you submitted for an Employed or Self-Employed individual?
What marital status is indicated on your visa application - married or single?
Thanks.

Hi everyone, happy new month. I have a pressing concern. The hotel I booked for my travel intends to debit my card by 7th of this month. I wouldn’t want to be debited before I get the visa and I am sure that I am travelling so I don’t waste money.

Please has anyone been in this situation? What did you do? Did you cancel and rebook or change the date? If I cancel and rebook the booking number will change and that will affect my documentation to the embassy when they reach out to the hotel to confirm my accommodation booking. I would really appreciate your insights.

Yes, I did say that based on personal experience. 1st experience was in 2019 and a colleague had his experience in 2020 before Covid-19 while my last experience in 2023 was not a denial but visa processing timeline. All the cases were presented genuinely with convincing evidences. Let me reiterate that writing them is not a guarantee that the denial will be overturned, however you may give it a shot. It worked for me and it may work for you too if your Case is convincing enough.

URN was a unique tracking number assigned to your submitted application by VFS. Remember, I said the last experience was in 2023 when french visa applications were treated by VFS and I believe TLS should have a similar approach - unique tracking numbers.

Partially, they were the reason I didn't travel. I made application earlier and they keep the application untouched till 2 days when the program I want to attend has started and it's visa validity of 15days and I receive my passport on the 3rd day. So I can't start travelling on the 3rd day of the event that suppose to last for 5days. Meanwhile I have valid canada Uk and china and SA on the passport. It's their choice. I only apply for visa when am in need of it.

Hi. Please guy , I need your help. I have a few questions and I need your suggestions on what to do.

I was recently denied France tourist visa a few months back so I'm thinking of reapplying

If I'm applying as someone sponsoring the trip myself what is the minimum balance I need to have in my account for a 5/7 day tourist visa?

Do I also need to submit the CAC of the sole proprietorship business I work for? (My boss is self employed,so I work as a personal assistant)

Do they check if my monthly salary isn't paid from an official bank?

Would I also need to submit tax clearance?

Also, what monthly salary range is okay?

I have more questions but this would do for now.

Company’s SOA only. I didn't submit my personal SOA, since I wasn't paying myself but got funds in there too but no regular salary payments hence I chose not to submit it..

You ought to have submitted your personal SOA. That's what's important.
