We should discard that no10 anyway, whether Zirkzee is playing or not. Playing double CMs with a CDM behind them will give us better protection in midfield and improve our transition defense.

I have thought of this before. One good thing about him is that even though he drops deep, he seems to find his way to the box on time as evident from the Liverpool game. He is still getting used to the pace of the league though, I noticed he was taken by surprise every he was quickly closed down before he could turn or think of what to do to get past someone.

Release the ball or boot it upwards.. don't hold it like u are pogba..or Gattuso..

That is why the system will set up any player to fail. You see they always want to retain possession and play from the back which is what ETH is trying to do, how do you now expect them to shoot the ball away when they are closed down when the first thing in their head is to try to beat the press?

Players do lose ball, its not a new thing. The best players have lost the ball multiple times. The real question is why is your team so open anytime the players lose the ball in that position?
