So how did the US also got its territories? The difference between Russia and US is that Russia did not go for full extermination and assimilation of its conquered indigenes. Russia allows them to even retain their culture, identity and language.

Faithti:
lol how did you think Russia conquered all those territories.....you think they fell from heaven?? From Siberia to yakutia, Manchuria to Chechnya down to the baltic states...every single one of them was conquered and colonized

You are falling for his trap, you are being outsmarted by him. Don't reply when you are not properly educated in a topic, take the time to get the education on the topic before replying. The USSR was not the only state which supported Ethiopia, all the major powers did.

I know , we started a convo where he Said Russia and the USA are the same in terms of what they did to Africa. Russia has only helped Africa since her existence as an independent state. I'm not talking about the USSR. That's another ball game.

That is an other mistake from you. Russian federation didn't exist before 1991and is the successor state of the USSR. It is not very smart to limit your knowledge to 1991-2024, he's only going to be running circles around you.

You're not getting the point. From the on set my convoy with him was not about the USSR but Russia. I already know all these, howbeit I'm talking about Russia vs the USA in Africa. The USSR is a different ball game. What part of this didn't you get?

It's irrelevant, it seems relevant only to you. But if you want to be right out of pride rather than take my advise, then carry on.
My advise was me extending a helping hand, but in Nigeria you guys have too much ego. The number of times I was corrected and advised in similar fashion is a very big number. I didn't do the "proud Nigerian", I learnt from those advises instead, that made my thinking better.

Yea Russia vs the US not USSR (made up of more than 16 countries) vs the US
Re: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by Ghostagain: 1:53pm On Sep 04
The USSR was not made up of 16 countries, it was just one country. It is the break up of the USSR which gave birth to several new countries which were just regions of the USSR prior to the break up.

You guys see history upside down.

⚡The US trade deficit in July expanded to its largest since mid-2022, according to government data released Wednesday, as imports rose more quickly than exports.

Overall, the trade gap widened to $78.8 billion, from a revised $73.0 billion in June, the Department of Commerce said.

If by bloodshed you mean genocide then you would be right. But like the not very knowledgeable guy you are, you oversimplify things. The USA started as a settler-colony of Britain, the settlers rebelled against Britain and went on to expand their colony through genocide. Russia on the other hand, went through the usual steps of how a country comes into existence: expansion. From house to clan, from clan to village, from village to city, from city to kingdom, from kingdom to larger kingdom (or empire).

Well you are acting like a 12 year old by plagiarising Wikipedia instead of using your own brain. As I already noted, you don't actually produce intellectual content, all you do is repeat after someone else.

You know this is not true. Like I pointed out, America seemed weak as at that time that even Japan had to take a shot at them. War time proved otherwise. A country as large as the US in landmass to start with, would not be an easy prey.
Bro if the US were to be in the continent of Europe where it could be accessible by land, the Germans would have grinded them, just immagine two great country France and Europe with empires stretching across the globe were still no match for the Mighty Germans.

⚡Putin ally orders scientists to "unlock the secrets of eternal life"

Putin ally Mikhail Kovalchuk, who is the head of Russia's Kurchatov nuclear research institute, has ordered Russian scientists to urgently develop anti-aging remedies and technologies to prolong life.

This order is believed to be driven by Putin's own obsession with achieving immortality and overcoming aging, as the Russian president approaches his 72nd birthday.

Russian health ministry has tasked research institutes with reporting on their efforts to tackle cognitive decline, cellular aging, and boosting immune systems, including exploring technologies like 3D bioprinting of organs.

⚡Russia and Malaysia will discuss collaboration in areas from aerospace to advanced technologies on Wednesday, as Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim becomes the latest Asian leader to shrug off Western efforts to cast Vladimir Putin as an international pariah.

Anwar is on a two-day visit to Russia, where he will meet Putin on Wednesday evening and brief media on Thursday, according to his office. The meeting allow talks on a broad range of topics, from agriculture and food security to trade and investment, Malaysia’s foreign ministry said in a statement.

“This visit will no doubt bring the best benefits to Malaysia, especially in strengthening cooperation as well as two-way ties between Malaysia and Russia,” Anwar wrote on X at the start of his two-day visit to the federation.

⚡Russia oil and gas revenues in August increased by 20% (to $8.7 billion) compared to the same month last year, Bloomberg writes.

This is explained by the rise in the price of Russian Urals crude oil ($74 per barrel) and an increase in gas exports.

The publication notes that Russia has adapted to European sanctions, found new buyers for its oil, and launched a massive shadow fleet.

Gas supplies to China in July through the Power of Siberia pipeline set a historic record and far exceeded contractual obligations. According to Bloomberg's calculations, gas exports to China increased by nearly 33% compared to last year, reaching 2.8 billion cubic meters.

Meanwhile, pipeline gas supplies to Europe through Ukraine and Turkey increased by almost 6% to 2.67 billion cubic meters.

⚡US to accuse Russia of 2024 election interference.

The United States is to accuse Russia of a sustained campaign to interfere in the November presidential election, US media has reported.

The Biden administration is expected to address the Kremlin's efforts to influence public opinion with a series of actions including criminal charges, according to CBS, the BBC's partner in the US.

The Russian state media network RT - formerly Russia Today - would be a major focus of the US efforts, according to CNN.

Attorney General Merrick Garland is expected to announce sanctions or other law enforcement action on Wednesday.

US officials warn that a growing number of foreign adversaries have attempted to interfere with its elections since Russia's efforts in 2016.

In June, a group of hackers linked to the Iranian government successfully breached the Donald Trump campaign and leaked some of its internal documents.

“Law enforcement is here. Please do not attempt to come to the school at this time while officers work to secure the area,” it added.
