While i won't encourage or discourage anyone who wants to JAPA, i will like to correct a notion that people are 'TOILET CLEANERS' abroad. There is nothing like toilet cleaners but CLEANERS. Cleaning is one of the common jobs you do abroad and being a cleaner does not mean you will clean toilets, it all depends on the jobs assigned to you and the agency you are working for. Remember their toilets are not as dirty as ours, i have seen that most toilets owned by stores are as clean as our toilets at individual homes in Naija because they have facilities to do the cleaning and they have water, tissues, hand wash, blower, even deodorants in some toilets. This is the same job the whites are doing and they don't attach any big deal to it. I have worked in some places where cleaners are using better cars than the managers, i have also seen some cleaners who make more money than company managers because they own the job and are able to work for 2, 3 different companies in a day. In Naija, we have a different orientatation about jobs and education and that is why we always talk down on some jobs and refer to them as dirty but to the whites, JOB IS JOB and you do any job you like that can fetch you money and peace of mind. I know some oyinbos working in health and still supporting themselves with cleaning jobs.

Some indigenes in these foreign countries have been unemployed for close to 2 years and their saving grace is that their governments will pay their rent and feeding allowance until they get a job that pays enough. You as a non national will not have this luxury once you spend your 4m Naira on travel, visa and initial accomodation for your first few weeks after which reality will hit you.

A lot of the people in the countries you are looking to relocate too do not have 1m Naira in savings and many of them are currently unemployed.

If I were you, I will stay put in Nigeria and open a Mama put with 1m Naira and put 3m in fixed deposit or better still buy some cheap land and fence it. With the Mama put, at least food will not longer be a problem and if you keep a close eye on it by being there every day, you WILL make a profit you can eventually live on.

Sometimes if you do not have enough cash in you account at the time of the application they will still consider your application as much as there is frequent flow credit/debt in your account to the tune of what you declared to be making monthly. I and my friend applied for UK 6 months visit visa, I got mine and he was denied because of infrequent cash flow yet he had substantial amount in his account at the time of application.

The visa officer's are not fools...any large deposit within a short space of time without a letter of Explanation on the source of the cash is a red flag.Anybody can post anything...cash is a movable asset so it's not really how much you put in there that matters.

It all depends on how you intend to run your business, any logistic business that doesn't have a legal backing is likely to have that outcome


You just need to meet those in line that have interpersonal skills to manage your rider excesses. My sister is running the business and the bikers can't do rubbish, they may do their own runs but the actual money to be delivered won't be tampered with
