I tried reaching out to the embassy, the numbers i got online didn't go and their bot auto-replied my email telling me to make inquires in their Visa Navigator. I did and it ultimately led me to the usvisappt website.

The website was changed (26th August). The new one( usvisaappt) is not fully set up, no family based visa is listed in it yet. I got in touch with the customer service but I was told to wait till F4 is included in the site, then file a complaint about my visa & passport retrival.

If I could just get in touch with the embassy I wouldn't be running this rats race which I doubt will be fruitful.

Please if anyone has a number or a functional email that an actual human is in charge of, please help. My mum is sick and depressed, we lost my dad a few months ago and I just want her to leave here as soon as possible, even if we don't tag along, things are too much on her & this is all I can do to help.

I am sorry for your dad's passing. It's always hard to transition from that. Have you checked if the visas have been printed from the ceac account? My friend's says that.

At the port of entry I was taken to another room where I waited with other people for about 5 minutes while an officer had my passport with him.
I told him I had a question and he said "ok?"
I said "there used to be a huge package immigrants carried when travelling..." He said "Yes. Everything is done online now."

Worrying about this won't help, it does no good.
You need to slow down and not be anxious.
Your passports will come out.
Relax..I know this sounds hard but it is necessary o. Your mum can not be sick.
Worrying will raise BP o!. This is the time to use whatever amount of faith you have. If you are not anxious everyone else will be confident

Occupy yourself with other stuff, to keep your mind busy.

I had previously used this site, it confirms that we are ready for our interview, but we have passed that stage. We have attended the interview over a month ago and we're approved. Just need to get the visa and passports back

Hmm. It really seems so. Thanks for the update, it has really brought things to light.
We will arrange for that.
It's really off that the embassy doesn't have any active phone number or email and that one has to source so hard for info. This community is really helpful. Thank you all for your selfless help

Baba, congratulations on your US arrival. Please could you tell us what you presented as an ID for passport pick-up? And did you make any scheduling before going? Is there any special desk for the passport collection?

Please how do I go about correcting my name as I found out that it was wrong spelt when we logged in to the CEAC website. Letter A was replaced with letter O in my name.

Any copy of a valid ID card. I had a copy of my passport data page also had NIN card copy too

No I didn't schedule any appointment to collect my passport.
I checked the Ustraveldocs page and saw "you passport is ready for pickup". I went to DHL the next day and asked and it was brought out of a room.

1. Do I have to register on https://www.usvisaappt.com/ or should I attend the interview with just the letter since the date and time is stated on the letter?

2. I registered on https://www.usvisaappt.com/ (as per instructions on the prep website) but I get an error message whenever I input my case ID. My case ID starts with LGS *****. Am I wrong? is there a different case ID? I also tried the Case Master ID, same error. (Picture attached).

3. What is the correct process/steps of confirming interview on https://www.usvisaappt.com?

Former F1 here, reclassified to F3 cos of marriage too. PD Jan 2010. Received welcome letter based on F1 in Sept 2016. Got reclassified to F3 March 2017. Got welcome letter for F3 May 2023 and DQed Sept 2023. Became current on first chart May 2024 and still waiting for IV. Proud recipient of 2 60 day notices with no idea when IV will be scheduled. So yeah, guess you have a long wait unless something miraculous happens.

I thought I-130 under 21 takes around 10-14months
Ours is 26months and counting and it’s still under uscis

Y are u disturbing urself instead start preparing to gather all the necessary document needed for your Interview to avoid delay of your visa process,when you finish your Interview the consular will tell u d next step to take as per Account creation.
