You can get the Hertz6 router in Ikeja if you're interested, I got mine there too for 25k

Why would you buy the sim alone for 20k, when you can get the 4G router plus 20k unlimited plan for 25k?

Walk into their service center in your state and get it.

It's even better to pay 30k for the router plus the unlimited plan, than to pay 20k for just the sim alone.

Can you please look under the router or the box for the manual and tell me the full model name of it. I want to know the specs online before i order it, thanks.

Yes I bought it at airtel office. I registered the sim there, although they said nin server was down at that moment. So, it didn't work immediately, it started working in the evening

How has the speed been for you so far?

Very satisfactory for now, the speed has been very okay. I attended a Teams meeting with it last night and there was no issue. I also watch YouTube and Netflix without any issues at it. Updated all the apps on my phone, equally updated my laptop

I equally took it to the office yesterday and used the UPS for hours. It was still on till when I got home in the afternoon. So, the UPS lasts long as well


Also, just noticed that the speed differs. When I put it on 5g/4g mode, the speed test was very poor but when I switched to 5G only, the speed became much better. Attached are the speed test results for both

Yes, I think it is under system status, then WAN information and mobile network. You will see it under monthly flow. I have used 10gb so far

If you live in a location where there is 5G coverage, close your eyes and buy the 50k 5G router. For some reason, it performs better over 5G than 4G, even though the speed is capped.

Oh i get you now, a friend has the same router and it's reception is way better than that of the ZLT X25PRO, the only problem being that you need to be a bit techy if you need to tweak settings and setup access points.
As for retrieving the units back if consecutive payments are not made, i've never seen it happen cos i know people who drop their units after the first month, however; this might have been true when they were giving out the routers free but for now the router payments are included in the initial payment though subsidized.
so if you area has bad reception i would recommend you buy the ODU units but if it's relatively okay, then the regular X25 or X25PRO should serve you well. Cheers

No 5G coverage for my area yet but you're right. It's best i get the 5g router now than cry later when it gets here and i'm still using 4G router. Besides i already have a fast universal 4G router so make i upgrade to 5G and sell the 4G own. ODU is the preference but the money na my entire salary and then some. Chai, which way Nigeria!!
