1. On average full day work, driver covers 200km to 250km daily but some do above it tho..

2. They accept any kind of car, hybrid, EVs and Co. So far the brand model starts from 2000 and the AC is working...

Thank you for that information. I'd like to follow up with a few more questions to get a clearer picture:

1. Regarding the 200-250km daily coverage:
- Is this considered the average range, or is it closer to the maximum?
- Do many drivers consistently exceed this range?

2. I'm curious about how this compares to other driving services:
- Does anyone know if delivery company drivers cover similar daily distances?

3. Electric and hybrid vehicles:
- Are there any forum members using EVs or PHEVs for ride-hailing?
- Specifically, has anyone used a PHEV with at least an 18kWh battery (capable of covering over 30 miles or 48km on electric power alone)?
- If so, how has your experience been in terms of range and charging logistics?

Your insights would be incredibly valuable for me in understanding the current landscape of ride-hailing and delivery services, especially as we see more alternative fuel vehicles entering the market. Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.

P.S.: For context - My ?s might be quite prying but I just need it actually for building a case study to be presented to a Visionary Venture Philanthropy. Thank you.

From my experience, BECUs I have 2009 model car. If the car belongs to you, you will make little profit with no savings from it. if the car is not for you nor put body. Mind you the cost of maintenance is unbearable, and the nature of this job don cast. Still doing the job, just to survive...

Forget whether EVs are good for ehailing or delivery or logistics services.
The singular most important question u should be asking is how robust is the electric vehicle infrastructure in Lagos or Abuja or wherever u are thinking of investing in. In Lagos I think there are only 2 charging points and that's poor.

If your inquiry is to invest in establishing a robust EV infrastructure. Then by all means go ahead, if the vehicles are available and affordable, people will buy into it if charging will not be a problem like we currently have a problem with CNG refill stations.

A lot of drivers use conventional hybrid vehicles like Prius, Camry hybrid and Civic hybrid for ehailing without problems and infact I personally believe hybrid is the best option for ehailing, delivery or logistics services. This reduces fuel consumption to as much as 50%.

On the average ehailing drivers in Lagos cover from between 100-200miles or 150-250km so the PHEV vehicles you plan to bring in for ehailing parners as your target customers must have minimum 250miles/300km range and fast recharging of less than 3hrs.

Dear Pearl,
Machete greetings in the name of our maker. In other for no long thing, can you please be posting every 9 minutes to avoid repetition of what happened in 1972. Where the generator at the backyard suddenly went off and on getting to check what could have happened, we only saw a long wire that led us to Cotonou. The lord will honour you, may you not sleep the sleep of General Sani Abacha. May you not embark on a trip of no return. Please let your page keep showing Pearl is typing… don’t put stone on the pad ooo 🤦‍♂️

Yours Sincerely,
Sodiq Pope.
