Dear Jagaban lovers, What is the progress update on Tinubu’s eight point agenda he promised Nigerians in 2023? This is over one year now. How far? 1. food security; 2. poverty eradication; 3. growth, 4. job creation; 5. access to capital; 6. inclusion; 7. rule of law; and 8. fighting corruption https://punchng.com/translating-tinubus-8-point-agenda-to-recovery/?amp What about the 50 million jobs promised between 2023 to 2026? How many has Tinubu and his government created? https://www.nairaland.com/7821154/tinubu-sets-3-year-economic-revival 36 Likes 6 Shares |

What I can answer, however, is that religion played a very large role in choosing a leader that has proven to be even more insensitive than PMB.They said Peter Obi was using religion to divided people. Stupid efulefu like Reno Omokri latched unto it and pronto he feast on it. Now he is deaf to how this evil have made life in Nigeria a pain today. 38 Likes 3 Shares

Nigerians don't know what merit means. They want someone that would fill their stomach, and keep their patronage system going. That's why we have lots of people supporting an unsustainable subsidy, and why many people don't vote for sane leaders. Eventually, people will wake up, and we would get our MIllei. LIke Argentina did. 34 Likes 1 Share |

Racoon: Yes, we should have voted out APC. But Peter Obi won't have brought about the eldorado you guys want. Peter Obi, when the victory dust settles, would have faced an economy where 90% of our revenue was going for debt servicing. The only way out would have been to remove fuel subsidy totally, remove electricity subsidy totally, reform taxation, so that at least 70% of the population is taxed..and actively fight corruption. It would have been nice, but he won't have done that, because Nigerians would have labelled him a wicked person. There is a reason why tinubu is doing partial reform, and not fighting corruption....it is because if he did the above, he would lose power. That is also why Obi walked back his comment and said he would remove 50% of the subsidy, something that has been done for decades, and has contributed to the issue we are facing now.... Until you, and the obideints and the tinubu, and the atiku and every Nigerian accepts that we are a poor country, we got to jail the corrupt, and we got to actually tax more of our gdp, and spend more on public transport infraxtrtucture....and not throw tantrums over the subsidy being unsustaibnable....we are going to face the same problem for years to come...and you all will be playing musical chairs. And yes, tinubu is not doing well. We are going to have issues from the subsidy he is still keeping for years. 35 Likes 2 Shares |

See, the universe has a way of punishing people for their stupidity. The current situation in Nigeria is punishment for the extremely stupid choices of the masses. We warned ⚠️ them, even begged them, but they refused to heed our warnings. Now they want us to protest with them? I think not. Tinubu must serve 8 years! Una go suffer tire. 10 Likes |

Hmm... It is one thing to support someone who has questionable history and circumstances. It is another thing to continue to support such a person when there is glaring evidence of mismanagement and incompetence. That is what BAT's supporters refuse to come to terms with. Which ever way you cut it, apc and bat have failed Nigerians. They have failed those who believed in their ideology (whatever that was) and have failed all Nigerians irrespective of political, religious and ethnic affiliation. The only legacy apc and bat have left for Nigerians is the introduction of a very divisive, toxic and deadly form of ethnic politics that is shaking the very foundation of Nigeria's peaceful existence. And a political narrative that strengthens the notion that the masses do not matter and can be easily suppressed either with a few chicken grains (rice) or with use of force. Before bat can speak of any progress, he must first take Nigeria to the socio-economic equivalent of 2014 and retrace his steps from there. This is one time that the way forward, is to go backward to a specific point in time when a little sanity still prevailed. 6 Likes |

NothingDoMe: Okay, how would you have handled the fact that 90% OF OUR revenue is going for debt servicing as at May 29 2023? Tinubu is even making matters worse by payuing more and more subsidy, and bringing about hefty deficit, that need loans to fill. THe latest price increase is an example of how unsustainable such a policy is. Obi would have just done partial removal of subsidy like tinubu...and the same result would have played out. The only way out is total removal of subsisdy. It does not matter whether you agree with me or not...either we remove subsidies on power and petrol, and let the market set the price, and suffer for some years, while things get set down in order before we reap the benefits....or we keep on having to be bailed out by the IMF.... 2 Likes |

nairalanda1:you can say what ever you desire, but never think Nigeria is a poor country. Sometimes I wonder, with al the wanton looting and stealing by public office holders, how is Nigeria still standing?? Where are the billions of recovered abacha loots, it has been rebooted In all you said we should do, I didnt see where you say cost of governance be reduced or cut down drastically, senators are earning millions of naira monthly for nothing, billions are used to renovate presidential structure, approve billions for hajj subsidy, another billions of to buy presidential jets because the present jet is 19 years old, just to buy a jet thats 14 years old with three different users 13 Likes |

iwaeda:Always ask yourself: who is a good Muslim and who is a good Christian? Is Tinubu a real Muslim? In what respects? Because of his name? When you look it critically if Tinubu had taken a Christian Vice, we would have had a ´Christian’ Christian ticket. The North knew this and knew it better to have a nominal Muslim and a Muslim as the President and Vice President |
