Please how does the Police recruit professionals like doctors, lawyers, nurses, helicopter pilots, engineers? Since these courses are not studied at Nigerian Police Academy. I remember in those days before police academy started, police normally do short service recruitment and cadet inspector recruitment.

How do they do these things now?

Hello friends, pls i need to ask some advice from the great men and fellow ladies of this house, i got appointment with FCSC last 4 months and got posted to OHCSF as programme analyst, now we are about to get posted again as pool officers by the OHCSF. Please which MDA the you think will be best for a programme analyst to be posted also the you advice one to look for a transfer from Abuja to state offices? Cos i know life will not be easy in Abuja for a starters like me. So is it a good decision to be transfer to a state office than to stay in the headquarters. Thank you inadvance friends.

I was faced with this same choice months back though at a different agency, Abuja or state offices. I chose Abuja. HQ might have it's ups and downs at inception but it's still the best in the long run.

No more officer cadre recruitment or short service anyhow you decide to call it in NPF, you must go through the Police Academy as a Cadet Officer trained for 5yrs like how NDA do for the military.

Just leave them..The next thing you will hear is APL distribution & resumption.There is still hope for people who have not been scheduled for interview.

Some are waiting for someone on this space to confirm the information before they believe.

Yes they will drop you in one level backwards, that is why it's advised you do conversion when you just get promoted to a new level immediately not when you have spent 2 or 3years on a level, like from 12 to 10, but if you do it immediately you enter 13 you fall back to 12. Goodluck
