How did you know Chloe was not the leader?

When Paul was mentioning those of the house of Chloe he would've mentioned the leader. Yet he said, "... It has been reported by those of the house of Chloe."

Brothers, like I said, I'm not here to explain away the scriptures, but to let everyone see that Paul wasn't in the wrong for quoting the law. Also, that God has poured out his Spirit upon all flesh (male and female).

So all the people that Paul mentioned their names were leaders of the church?
So if Paul was just quoting the law , how come he said And so says the law also? Meaning the law was confirming it.
You seems to make alot of assumptions, who says God didn't pour out upon all flesh?

Females should KEEP QUIET where men are talking about sacred secrets but they can assist their children and female neighbors in preaching and teaching.

The only room open for a female to stand preaching before men is when there are no baptized males in the gathering then she will have to lead in prayer and worship but she must use a cloth to cover her head as a sign of respect for the headship that rightfully belongs to men. 1Corinthians 11:3-6

Sound reasoning!

Only a baptized individual is believed to be a Christian {Matthew 28:19} that's why Jesus' disciples were baptizing those that have agreed to become followers of Jesus! John 3:26

Christ is the head of every man while the man is the head of the woman it's wrong for the woman to lead men in sacred service just as no man can lead Christ during sacred service. 1 Corinthians 11:3-6

Angels are irritated when things aren't done appropriately and they can strike someone dead at the spot where sacred service is not taken seriously {2Samuel 6:7} so we must avoid irritating them by allowing females to take the lead {1Corinthians 11:10} so if it's only females that are baptized in the congregation then one qualified baptized female will lead the congregation during sacred service that's why she needs a covering to show respect for her head which are males in the congregation since she's not supposed to lead them in sacred service. 1Corinthians 11:3

May you have PEACE!

1. In a country where you have less Christians, what if in a church of 10 people, one of them is a woman who knows more about scriptures than the remaining 9 who are men, and the men agreed that they want to learn from her, so she cannot teach them?

If you think she cannot teach them can you give a reasonable explanation for that?
Because, a reasonable explanation for her to teach them is that, the men should not remain in ignorance
2. You have heard of Deborah in the old testament, what was her role to the isrealites?

You know that kind of regimented thinking that some have will make them see the world so black and white grin cheesy cheesy

Regimented........ very strictly organized or controlled.

When the law of free people is applied. The illustration above is no problem when regimented thinking is applied wahala dey. grin cheesy grin

Women should be silent in the congregation not to even say Amen grin cheesy cheesy

Read according to the context, Paul was speaking to the women of the church at Corinth because of their disorderly behaviour, he said "let your women keep silence" It does not mean women cant speak in the church but however not to disrupt service.

Yes sir. She cannot teach them according to God's word and design. Can she guide them by expounding the scriptures to them? Yes she can. Priscilla and her husband did same to Apollos. And the Holy Spirit took over and turned Apollos into one of the greatest men of God in Paul's time that some misguided believers started trying to make a sect out of him.
Can she become their teacher/pastor? No sir. God is not an author of confusion. If there are men like that ready to learn the scriptures, God would readily grant them enough grace to fill up those leadership roles that he has ordained for the males who represent the head of mankind.

There is an order of things already which is typical of God, to assign positions to us differently. Even in the body of Christ, we are not all one member but many members. And all the members are equal, moreso members that seem insignificant are to be esteemed highly. Submission and quietness are highly priced qualities in this kingdom.

This passage by Paul too isn't just referring to husband-wife relationship though it includes it.
1 Timothy 2:11-14 New International Version (NIV)

A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner.

They won't lol. Anyone who is hungry for these things never lacks understanding. God might choose the woman to open their eyes but he won't let the woman become their teacher or pastor. He cannot contradict himself.

Yes I've heard of Deborah. Did her role contradict what I've stressed?

That's the problem of regimented thinking about realities that surround us in the world. Instead of chasing ideals and shadows face reality..

Yes sir.

Means....

She cannot teach them according to God's word and design.

Then....

Can she guide them by expounding the scriptures to them?

Your response....

Yes she can.

The Lord is your shepherd indeed...

The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name.

Those who teach don't guide based on regimented kind of thinking.

Take a look at this, was it wrong that she was a judge and a prophet?

Judges 4:4

Judges and prophets don't teach in their ideals, regimented and shadow chasing. In reality we know judges and prophets can teach.

TimiRume:
Yes she was a prophetess not a teacher. What do prophets and prophetesses do? They judge or decide situations by passing direct messages from God to the people.
They don't teach, they tell or foretell what God has said or instructed for certain situations to save or restore the people.

Even today, God allows women to prophesy in church under certain conditions. Prophesying is a different ministry from teaching or pastoring. Hope this helps.

We know and have many account of prophets that teach, instruct and lead in your Bible.
Re: Let Your Women Keep Silence In The Churches: Was Paul Wrong? by Steep(m): 11:35am On Sep 09
Paul wasn't even imposing the law on them, but stressing the need for orderliness in the church which the law also says.

Secondly, this has nothing to do with women doing the work of evangelism, or prophesying or teaching.

As for women teaching, it is stated that a woman should not to teach or usurp authority to teach over a man.

However, does that mean a woman can never ever teach no.
For He said

Titus 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

2:4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

What Paul addressed is a woman taking the place of a man to teach or exercise authority over him.

It has nothing to do with evangelism, prophesying or any other ministry.

you mean, as a judge she did not teach the people the ten commandments?

Na rules and regulations of Jehovah's Witnesses be that. Funny people they asked baptised females to carry the microphone during their meetings all of a sudden they changed it and said they should stop it and give the assignment even to the unbaptised males in their congregation

You know this is not True.

You know at creation both the male and female were equal which is why the bible Said "their name was Adam", the history and beginning of Mr. and Mrs the man's name (and not Adam and Eve as people have been taught to see)

And you women already knew that it is because female Adam sinned first, is why she became lower than her equal exactly how classmates are equal but the one who steals will be lower than the rest of his classmates.

Wrong, eve is not lower than Adam, both Adam and eve fell into a lower position due to sin.
Women were never lower than men neither in the past or present.

2. Are you baptized in the accordance to Matthew and 28: 19 - 20 or according to Acts where folks were baptized in the name of Jesus?

You see, this imperfect perfect people think others don't read the Bible and cannot think.

1Cor.14.34 - Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law
.

Paul wrote to his own congregation, which were Gentiles writing different things for different occasions. The tenor of writing to Corinthians was different from Galatians and Thessalonians, even between Timothy and Titus.
When Jesus was going away, he left one commandment: love.

No one was an Apostle, Deacon, prophet, Bishop etc. No Laws was made about women in ministry. He handed those over to the Holy Spirit. That is where the challenge is. In the early church, folks did not even know which doctrines to preach. They had to hold a conference and concluded and wrote to the brethren:
Acts.15.28 - For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
Acts.15.29 - That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

The issue of women in ministry was not final by Paul's writing here. He even drew from the Law to support his view. He was killed for teaching contrary to the Law!

When the prophet talks about pouring of the Holy Spirit on both males and females. If the Holy Spirit is for witnessing and later other characteristics come out in the gifts, the Holy Spirit on males is for ministry and that on the female is for the kitchen and the 'the other room ' grin.
Why would God do that? It is true Paul was writing to Corinthians primarily but he claimed to 'know in part '

My comment is about how we apply Paul's letter in my church so you too can apply it the way you believe in yours.
I'm not forcing it on you rather you asked like an interested person after all the OP's question is what you too should have made a meaningful contribution to not just waiting for others! undecided

Wrong, eve is not lower than Adam, both Adam and eve fell into a lower position due to sin.
Women were never lower than men neither in the past or present.

Then why all over the world do we see boys are better than girls/men greater than women?

Or do you not see that the lowering is right there in one of the Curses she got?

Or did you not see her Curse is more than the man's own?

It is because female Adam was the first to sin and in her case, she sinned whole heartedly unlike male Adam who sinned because he loved his wife and not because he wanted to sin.

As Christ is Highly Rated because He is The First Son, so also is Satan, Satan because he was the first to sin.

And Cain, because he was the first to murder

And Lamech because he was the first to commit polygamy.

And Enoch because he was the first Righteous man...

Like Satan, female Adam was the first man to sin and who got another man to sin along with her which is why we see that God does not want her near His Things.
