there is nothing like impossible here I know people that bolt takes 15% commissions from unless there rule of engagement has changed.....the more you are working on there platform and your acceptance rate and driver score is good they reduce there commissions on your trips. Go and verify it

On the % thing, there are different categories. It's actually 13% . And its not based on acceptance alone.
The thing is, there are fleet managers in partnership with Bolt. They give out Bolt branded cars to drivers on HP, such drivers are on 13%, Reason for this discrepancy, this is my opinion.
1. To make the drivers easily pay off the steep weekly HP levies of the fleet manager, some pay as high as 60k weekly.

Bolt is 20% actually, but in reality they deduct approximately 25%. That difference is for the govt, both state n federal
Apart from the road tax collections by LASG, FIRs takes a certain collection from them, and it is drawn from the drivers . That's why Bolt keep insisting it is,20%. they expect you to figure it outgrin.

We aren't talking about price, we are talking about Bolt taking ur money after asking u to collect discounted amount from Rider.
Now he is saying sometimes bolt charges 20% and some other time's bolt charges 25% commission. I know that's impossible and he definitely can't provide evidence of his claim. If I wan dash person money I no go say make him do d impossible na. grin
By the way, Hope u know u can cash out your money anytime from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. U don't have to wait till Monday next week.

I didn't quote you based on your arguments with the guy. I just dey talk my own.

Moreover I can't cashout now cos I've not used bolt for months and I've not done up to 25 trips since I started recently

At this rate eh if I see a good business I can do with 6m I go sell my two cars and get off this hustle........it's the entitlement mentality of those riders for me right now ...like are you not aware of what is going on

I also need a business idea. I don't even need to sell my car, I already have the capital but have been scared of investing in the wrong business.

Basically, money from ehailing is a chop money. Nothing to save really.

My money is currently saved in mutual funds yielding 22% p.a.

That's a different story all together. Stop shifting goal post.
If u have Driver bonus that reduces your commission, after a certain number of trips that is a different situation because u are clearly on a bonus. Just saying some trips are 20% while some trips are 25% without stating u where enjoying a bonus from bolt is misleading. Just like Uber that has a bonus that can reduce ur commission to as low as 3%, does that mean sometimes they charge 20% and sometimes they charge 3%?
Don't forget the initial argument was if u do a trip that has Rider discount, u will not get your money back from Bolt even if the discount is more than the commission on that trip.

If you have up to 10-15 million naira. Locate a booming printers' area, set up a printing press there. The only machine that I can bet you most of them don't have is signage machine. Printers outsource this job daily, just get that machine and you can make roughly 90-150k gain daily with it.

worst 21st century business idea for a newbie. it comes with high maintenance costs and capital requirements. It can be especially challenging for someone lacking experience or knowledge in that field.

You should also have asked why Printers will rather outsource that purchase a signage machine.

There could be a reason.

Bro. This lady has 5 years of personal business experience. She started her business with loan, upgraded with 2 grants. Saying there are no personnels and availability of parts is fallacy. Thank you.

how did I shift goal post ......you said it was impossible you didn't even leave room for any deviation from that 25%. Now if I work hard to earn that discount why should i be the one that I have to bare the burnt

For someone that have been in business for 5 years and 2 grants? Can also make 90k daily. 😂 the way you guys throw advice up and down here. You don’t seem to me like someone that has ever had 2 million in his name.
