1. When the refund was initiated after using pay4me app, were you actually refunded before you proceeded with the Providus platinum card ? The website might be protecting you from being double charged.

2. You cancelled the appointment and restarted a new one , how did you do it ? Did you open another profile ? Otherwise, you are not supposed to go back to the section of inputting your passport details, you are supposed to continue from the payment section.

3. Anyways , here is the solution the USA embassy puts forward "

Please note, that after making a payment via Cash or EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer), you need to allow one business day for the bank to process the transaction before continuing to the appointment calendar to book an appointment. If you paid by card or your cash/ EFT payment is delayed longer than the above mentioned processing time, please use the ''Create a ticket'' option in your scheduling account on usvisaappt.com to send us the payment confirmation and the screenshot of the error you encountered, alongside with a brief explanation of the error. And am still afraid cause of the one institute i picked, pls i need suggestion if i lie that i apllied to drexel school of nursing,lonestar college and hcc will it be ok or i should just stick to only lonestar which is the only school i aplied to. I am an undergraduate and i actually picked lonestar cause my aunty who is a legal usa citizen was an alumni in lonestar. Should i talk about the fact that my aunt went to same school

1. Yes. Go and fill the DS-160 form first, and be certain that you adhere to all rules...

2. Then visit the new website. You have to 1st, sign up. 2nd, choose payment option, 3rd, make payment, 4th, wait for payment acknowledgement, 5th revisit the website to book your appointment.

1. Yes. If you are given the option to stop the transaction (i doubt this) , quickly go and do so and restart afresh , this time with extra caution.

2. Otherwise, wait for the bank to rectify it. They will certainly do, but according to your grammar, cascading means chain process, which can take 1 week.

3. AVITS Amentum does not have any business with you right now , except if you want to ask them if they can correct the error transaction (name and DOB) from their end, but why not wait for the bank or ask for refund?

I hope it is not your aunt in the US that is sponsoring you, if yes please change sponsor to your parent. If this is your first time applying at the US embassy please do not mention that you have anyone in the US. Also, don't mention only 1 school you can mention 3 schools and state why you chose Lonestar, personalise your answer

1. You can get an F1-VISA appointment as soon as possible. Please, understand that of all USA VISA categories, F1-VISA applicants are usually given priority because of their need to meet up with school resumptions, as they contribute billions of US$ to the USA economies as well as human capitals.

2. In order to support this fact, the USA embassy have exempted F-1 VISA applicants from the rule of Consular Shopping ( but with due process), and they also give all F-1 VISA applicants the opportunity to apply for expedite appointment " Under Student - Emergency".

3. Ipso facto, every F1-VISA applicant "especially first timers" will usually have the opportunity of securing VISA appointments, prior to their resumption terms, if the whole process is done diligently according to the embassy rules & regulations.

yes I was refunded by pay4me app after 2 days, because they stated it was only my own application that was having this issue of payment not successful, on the AVITS website after signing in , on my dashboard section there is an icon with pending appointment request and cancel appointment request, so I cancelled it and restart a fresh one, since then I have not been able to progress to where to make payment section, it always saying duplicate applicant found for this user.
I did not create a new profile still the same profile, just a different appointment, after canceling the one rejecting payment.
I don't know if I should just fill up a new DS-160 form maybe that will help

double profile actually means fraud. Go back to my previous suggestion and do the needful. Why do you want to fill another DS-160 ? Do you want to make it triple profile ? If you fill another DS-160 how does it erase your double profile ? Go and communicate your issues with the embassy and IOS.

Hey 🤠

1. USA is the number 1, country that has never failed over the years, followed by Republic of Benin (Cotonou). Those in the UK or any other country who can find a Western Union outlet " with Bill/Quick Pay" can as well pay on your behalf. Not all WU outlet can receive SEVIS fee, so, tell the person ahead to look out for WU outlet with QUICK PAY.

PS: Go to SEVIS website and fill a payment coupon , which you must print out and send to the person paying on your behalf. The person must tender the coupon when making the payment.

PS: Nigeria SEVIS fee payment via online has been put on hold for now, and any other forms of payment is very very limited. Some payment apps will charge you huge interest, and many has failed to deliver money to SEVIS.

He interviewed in Abuja with the DS160 that he filled for Lagos. His visa was denied though because he mentioned that he has a brother in the US (Same school). I am currently doing a PhD in the same school that he is coming. The only question he got asked is *Do you have anyone in the US and where are they* which he answered truthfully as advised. He got his own 70% scholarship and we have a strong bank statement but was still denied.

I think its because I am in the same school, do you guys think he should reapply for the visa or what can he change?

INA 214b denial slip will keep you suggesting various denial reasons, so alight from that fallacy trailer.

3. Your brother in summary, failed to convince the consular of his genuine intention, post study plans etc, and might have displayed a braggart or over-confidence mien which is slightly reflected in your post above (eg he has his own 70% scholarship and we have a strong bank statement).

When denied like that, I heard if you want to reapply immediately, they’ll ask you whether you’ve been denied before. If you say yes, they won’t allow you to see near dates when u want to book for appointment . What to do in this case?

They have replied and they said this " We apologies for the inconvenience. We are still in the process of migration, please you need to wait until the migration successfully completed and try to log in again and verify your information. Thank you, U.S Visa Support "
