if it breaks it 2.70 resistance level to create a new support, we will see 3.within these month and likely to get to it all time high of 3.8 in next month.

If there is a draw back expect 2.4 before bounces back to an upward movement to 3.8

Expect positive result for the month of sep/october.

People are praying for Dangote Refinery to succeed, yet the same people are praying for Oando to fail. No be JuJu be that? Charity they say begins at home. If Oando didn't fail during other regimes, then how is the said company going to fail during his uncle's regime?

People will bark, cry and lament, but it won't stop Oando from crossing over #100 soonest. You can write your book of lamentations and past experiences in Oando, but the northern journey is rest assured. Follow the money! grin grin grin

DONT BE FOOLED

After totally discounting the other income (of which they keep a portion) they still made 373,504,548,000 in 6 months.

Using the pre offer ourstand shares of 29,431,179,224; we are still looking at a forward EPS of 25.38 and a P.E of 1.8.

Remember Other income is totally dscounted.

Even when I add the 9,000,000,000 shares from the offer, I am looking at 38,431,179,224 outstanding shares and a forward p.e of 2.37.

I cant believe GTB is this cheap. I hold and will keep buying with all I can raise

This is easily a N200 stock based on these worst case scenerios.

Abeg does anybody kow the closure date for the dividends?

Juli is the more you look, the less you see. They move it by 10% daily. Total volume traded doesn't exceed 120k units.

You have an edge over the rest of the market if you know or understand what they do not. That is not to say the yr 2025 is guaranteed. They must hit the ground running now that some funds have been raised and hope that mother earth favours them. Let me not bore you with details of what they will need to do regarding their Gold exploration activities. They haven't really provided much update. As at last annual report, Diamond drilling was the next stage.

By the way, they are prospecting for other minerals too.

Some of their reporting is inaccurate but I can forgive them. On their website they claim their target is to achieve 30 million Gold ounces by 2028. That is just a pie in the sky. Silly forecast. Start somewhere first. Previously, they claimed they have 650,000kg inferred reserves of Gold. Likely incorrect too. Now according to this article, they have 637,000 ounces inferred resources of Gold which is more likely (an ounce of Gold is about USD2500 if I'm not mistaken). Maybe it's the reporters and secretary writing rubbish sha. 100 million ounces in this article again cheesy ? They need to convert it to "Indicated" resources then Proven reserves with further drilling. Before the Gold even gets to market, the day Japaul announces successful drill results (if they are successful ni o), leave story.........your eyes will see something.

๐Ÿ‘†Thanks for your perspective constructive praise ๐Ÿ™

I will rather tell someone to buy sugar if it is only based on future hope villa of 2025 and beyond. Alhaji hope villa still has facts as per the backward integration on ground and expanding farm.Have you consider the insecurity in the North whr this major gold sites are located. And you think 20B can make significant impact with any company trying to provide its own security thr.Let me tell you the truth. This is why I want to sell my okumu oil because of what that level of insecurity can do to a business .why is tompolo being the one handling the insecurity in the delta oil region. Did you see the cost to provide such services. The one in the North is not child's play bro.If they ask you to go to those states to work.will you agree. Na which foreigner go agree go do the mining in 2025 when even the state governors are helpless. Make owner just dey use japa oil dey do jijo for now...lo.
As it stands now as person way stayed over 40yrs for North. I dey fear to drive from abj-kad-zaria-katsina-zamfara-sokoto-brinin kebbi which use to be my route as per grain/car business.
Thanks for your perspective.
๐Ÿ‘†Constructive Criticism ๐Ÿ™

Omooloriredade:

2. They needed this placement finalised to make progress both with drilling and completion of the acquisitions (H&H and Covenant Gem).

They have 12 sites across the country but appear to be working on only 4 at the moment. I think they have ongoing GOLD projects in Osun, Benue and Niger. Taraba is the other state but for a different mineral. They acquired H&H Mines and Covenant Gem but it appears H&H's projects are more advanced than CG's. CG is at Eti-Oni, Atakumosa LG Osun state.

I can confirm to you Japaul had staff on site just a month ago. But like I said the fund raised is important for their next steps so I can't tell how significant their current on-site activities are.

And I understand your Sugar call. It's a safer bet. I put it to you that IF Japaul is successful with their exploration activities, Sugar/Nascon/Rice returns will be child's play (I can't believe I typed that. Totally out of character cheesy). Everyone please go for Sugar that is less risky o.
๐Ÿ‘†thanks for further constructive praise๐Ÿ™

Streetinvestor2:
Yes you are right. The insurity in niger delta is manageable. The one in the North dey different level. The difference is that the guys in the delta still have value for human life. The guys in the North no see life as any thing. They are ready to die and I will tell you most of them are not real Nigerians. If I tell you what my eyes see for one of the market I went to in katsina for grains for brewery. I died inside me lol. This guys to kill is not what they see as unusual. It gives them the feeling oga Agba get in the other room. And if you are to employ such services it will be extremely expensive. You see this gold matter full ground in kaduna in the brinin gwari area.Thr is this kada hotel we stay when we tried the illegal mineral stuff. If I tell you watin I see all the way to mokuwa/tegna,neky in niger state..If you want good red beans na for thr.We lost big all cash on a bad day to this guys. The reason why I don't venture any opinion (and I will not venture any) about Oando is that it has exhaustively been discussed in prior years. I may not be wrong to describe it as arguably the most discussed stock on this platform. It always elicit divisive responses that often degenerate.

There's enough opinions and materials out there for any one to make a decision either way.

Notwithstanding, it is not everyone that runs from the kind of risk and rewards that Oando currently present.

Whether you are a rookie, newbie or veteran, you are still the CEO of your portfolio.

You see! This is the issue.

When you make statements like this, you don't consider it an attack but when others do, you say they are attacking you for talking about thier favorite stocks.

Why would you say people are paid to express opinions here? Maybe you are being paid for your negative "PR job" on the stocks you don't like?

I hope we also know that Aradel has a refinery that produces petrochemicals like Automotive Gas Oil (AGO), Household Kerosene (HHK), Marine Diesel Oil (MDO), High-pour Fuel Oil (HFO) and Naphtha.

Aradel PLC is another name we need to monitor closely before or when they enter the premiership league of the NGX. Heard it will be in October 2024.

You also cannot separate politics from Oando. No matter how you look at it the apparent connection to power keeps staying in people's view. On the other hand one just cannot but appreciate the tremendous efforts of Alhaji in actualizing the refinery. It is the biggest project ever accomplished by an individual Nigerian. It probably surpassed any project ever done by any Nigerian government. One may argue that he couldn't have done without government assistance. Granted. But the vision, the effort, the successful delivery of the project, and the struggles he is having the oil cabals, have endeared Alhaji in people's hearts. At a time when people have given up on the government refineries ever coming back on stream the Dangote refinery gave a ray of hope in people's eyes.

A sizeable chunk of the unrealized gains is due to naira devaluation against the dollar and other international currencies. To the bank investor that's good. For many other companies with sizeable physical assets their book values may be understated as the cost of replacement of those assets has gone up significantly due to naira devaluation. However, for such companies it's better they are making some profits. The book value (net assets) of banks is relatively up to date while that of manufacturing companies in these periods of massive devaluation are more likely to be understated. Hence banks can get price to book less than one. While manufaturing businesses will have theirs far above one. May not be worth putting too much weight on price to book in this naira deprecation cycle.

Profit from operations is far more important!!! than unrealized gains (from more valuable assets) due to a reporting currency that is losing purchasing power relative to those assets.

Watch out for ELLAHLAKES, something is about to be cooked!

I am still conducting due diligence on Ellah Lakes. The 2024 annual report should put some meat on the bones of the recently released Q4 results. It should be out in about two weeks or so.

CBO capital is looking to meet the free float requirement of the NGX so that has put a damper on the SP lately. Debt for equity swaps and equity distribution to their shareholders mean they can come to the market to convert to cash which is what I believe has been happening. SP is not my concern or focus though.

For me, it's about putting the puzzle together. So please give us something to play with. cheesy

I like to think of the stock market and investors this way: A set of Photo Puzzle

1. Some of us don't know where to search for the parts.
2. Some of us know where to search but can't put them together. We need a photo guide which often doesn't exist.
3. Some of us can put them together but don't have the complete set. I'd say it's practically impossible to have a complete set.
4. Some of us prefer that the parts are put together by management, then we assess the outcome to see if we like the final picture.

Whichever category we find ourselves largely informs our investment decisions and timing.

I love me a game of puzzles. I feel like I have made considerable progress but some parts are missing and in some cases I need clarifications which the annual report might provide.

Several inventions and discoveries have been attributed to dreams:

1. Penicillin: Alexander Fleming's dream led him to discover penicillin in 1928. He dreamed of bacteria being destroyed by a mold, which inspired him to experiment and discover the antibiotic properties of penicillin.

2. Periodic Table: Dmitri Mendeleev's dream helped him finalize the periodic table of elements in 1869. He reportedly saw the elements arranged in a logical order in his dream.

3. Telephone: Elias Howe's dream inspired him to invent the first practical sewing machine in 1845. He dreamed of being taken captive by a group of natives who were dancing around him with spears that had holes in the tips, which led him to design the needle with an eye at the point.

4. Theory of Relativity: Albert Einstein's dreams and thought experiments contributed to his development of the theory of relativity, although he didn't directly attribute it to a single dream.

5. Paul McCartney's "Yesterday": The melody for the Beatles' hit song "Yesterday" came to Paul McCartney in a dream in 1965.

6. Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein": Mary Shelley's dream inspired her to write the classic novel "Frankenstein" in 1816.

7. Elias Howe's Sewing Machine: Howe's dream, mentioned earlier, also helped him design the first practical sewing machine.

8. Niels Bohr's Atomic Model: Niels Bohr's dream led him to propose the planetary model of the atom in 1913.

9. Robert Louis Stevenson's "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde": Stevenson's dream inspired him to write the classic novel "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" in 1886.

10. Srinivasa Ramanujan's Math Formulas: The Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan claimed that his dreams often revealed mathematical formulas and insights.

While dreams can inspire creativity and problem-solving, it's essential to note that hard work, dedication, and expertise are also crucial for turning dream-inspired ideas into reality.
