Imagine Harris on the 10th without Trump.
That'll have been way better for him.
I think the CNN debate disarmed him. He figured if CNN, his arch-enemies, could be fair to him; he should give ABC the benefit of a doubt.
That was a serious misstep.

-Lord
To me he did very well at the debate if I'm to score him on his performance 90% will be my grade. Accepting the abc news Show his willingness and courage to take up challenges and face his fears. At this point kamala doesn't have any rights to ask for a debate.

My question remains, how many of Pence's known ideas were implemented under Trump? Or any past VP's ideas implemented for that matter.

I can't be too bothered whether you guys get it or not. Fact remains that Harris did not come to play according to you guys rules or expectations, especially when you guys' lord and master won't play by the same rules. She did what she wanted to do at the debate and left unscathed, I will leave you guys to decide whether Trump achieved the same or not.

It's good you Trump's supporters are not happy, it would have been bad for her if you were. So you can cry blue murder for as long as you want... It matters not to her that she beat Trump to his own game.

The undecided and those who have ears to hear her got her messages loud and clear. Whether she convinced them to vote for her or not shouldn't be Trump's supporters headache...or it should...

As dey say in Naija, if una no dey satisfied, "Go to court" or "una go explain tire" cheesy

BTW, who is going to tell Trump that Harris just addressed another very large crowd in NC? The crowd looks bigger than Trump's o grin

Reading that was painful. So much broken logic.
Isn't it hilarious that I asked for why you think Biden underperformed and to give me specific policy and you did the same thing you accused Harris of doing, dodged, deflected and weaved, but never answered. Lol.
I misjudged you.
I can probably understand now why you think you are a liberal and are also a fan of Desantic and Vivek. You haven't really thought about it long nor really understand what the liberal philosophy is.

Because common sense is painful for you.

He did well at the ABC debate.
But at FOX, she would have been manhandled.
And if she didn't accept FOX, she would have had a townhall on ABC and cratered.

If Harvard gave out degrees for catching clear typos or spell check mis-corrections(in other people's work, not your your own), you'd have a PHD.
Sadly, they don't and unfortunately for you that would have been the only way you'd ever step foot there.

Well, you put so much emphasis on things like this so shut up

Haitians are wrecking Springfield Ohio.

A Haitian killed a boy and his progressive father attacks people like Donald Trump and JD Vance for caring about his son's death. He says they are racists...

The man said he wished his son was killed by a 59 years old white man

This is how demented progressives are.

Good question in bold

Mike Pence is a core conservative, A religious one and what Nigerians will call Born again while Trump was the extreme opposite of that

When you see things like
Moving the US. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.
Issuing guidance reaffirming that public schools must allow students to pray individually or in groups
Appointment of Judges who advance religious liberties like Gorsuch and Kavanaugh and confirmation of conservative judges to federal courts
Support for the Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives
Exemptions to the Obamacare's contraceptive mandate, allowing more employers and organizations to opt out of providing contraceptive coverage if it conflicted with their religious beliefs

Those are born again and Christian focused policies which Trump does not give 2 crap about but Pence used his office to push

In the Bush-Cheney regime, Those foreign policy and wars were largely pushed by Cheney

Now lets ask about Kamala in her 3.5yrs with Biden

Oh I get it.... What a contribution!

Well Harris introduced Chicken Tikka Masala dish to the white house, a very delicious Indian dish. She also made sure they serve Curry Goat in the menu every weekend with Reggae music in the background. If you visit Jamaica without eating Currie goat with Reggae music in the background, then you wasted your journey.

And all that Sari designs you saw lately on TV were inspired by Kamala.

Now the big question is how do all these bullshit you and I gave seriously improve the lives of an average Americans for them to thankfully praise these VPs?

In Kamala's voice; how many Americans are asking for these?

I asked for serious policy impact and you were telling about religion influence. Dayo get your head out of Trump's ass. You were better than this. I remember your quality debates and arguments in the politics section those years and now I shake my head when you defend the indefensible with Trump. You were smarter than this. Or agba ti de ni? Many people in the US are concerned about having conservative or liberal Supreme court justices, and they voted for those who will
You asking how it improved their lives Is like asking how abortion improved peoples life? Or how same sex marriages improved peoples lives

There are people in America who voted for Trump because of his promise to move the capital of Israel to Jerusalem. Many candidates promised it in the past and he delivered

Many people voted because of their religious choices. These are peoples lifestyle and what they want, this is why evangelicals supported Pence

There are people who are concerned that their religious freedoms are being eroded,

This was fair.
Some gripes. Abortion was probably one of Harris's best answers that night. Wasn't close. Trump was all to happy to not talk about it anymore. It's a lose lose. He loses more women or he loses his evangelical base.
As to the war casualties, she said women and children as she didn't want to get into trouble as men could be seen as combatants by some.

You are right, Harris did miss some good opportunities, a couple more than you mentioned. But part of it, is what she went into the debate to do. She wanted to do no harm. And you have to understand, that black people in the US are seen as Angry and temperamental, even more so black women. She was trying to walk the line of being tough but not being seen as an Angry Black person, or a temperamental woman or both. I think she pulled off what she wanted.

Yes, if Trump had all the ammunition Kamala did, he would have pummeled her with it, just like he bulldozed his way through the moderators. But that's because Trump is a white man who can get away with that and that's who Republicans and their base are.
But, there is no universe that this version of Trump beats Kamala. This was his one chance. She'll be more prepared, understand how to debate him, haven't done it, and she will have more confidence next time.

CNN is roasting Kamala for the same points I mentioned.. She dodge too many critical questions. She was only more presentable. As far as substance go, na stalemate.

Most of these were tradeoffs to get support of various groups esp. Evangelicals. The Supreme Court picks were pushed by the Federalist Society. David Friedman was behind the ISrael Embassy move,.

Kamala had the worst VP approval rating in history before she became the nominee.

Why did they think she had such an atrocious job performance review.
Pundits were openly saying she was dragging Biden down and should be replaced.

Kamala has been a disaster.
Whether it's because she was the last one in the room for the fatal Afghan debacle and so walked side-by-side with Biden and owns the administration's failures.
Or because as she now wants to insinuate, she essentially sat idly by while Americans were pummeled by sky-high inflation, horrible housing and insurance costs, a wide-open border and outrageous influx of illegal migrants, and new wars raged in Europe and the ME.

Her actions and inactions contributed to the disastrous situation that the plurality of Americans recognize and want to change.
And when she had the opportunity to give an account of her stewardship (or lack thereof), she opted to disrespect the American population by deliberately punting questions and offering meaningless platitudes. She refused to offer an apology for her role in putting Americans through a horrible economic malaise and failed to elucidate her plans to restore the low-inflation, low-unemployment, booming economy and safe borders under the pre-pandemic Trump administration that Americans remember fondly.
