Etranzact will soon touch N10 and Chams is sold for N2 considering they are both doing almost the same business. 2 Likes |

Agbalowomeri:Good thought. This is how it should be...... Even if it now falls a bit lower than pick up price, it will always come back up and move to green zone....π Sometimes while waiting endlessly, someone else will just appear from nowhere to clear the offers.... It happened yesterday in FMN and used to happen on different occasions. 3 Likes |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Omooloriredade: 6:19am On Sep 13 |
Choiceguy: You can't compare stocks that way. Comparing SP in isolation is a very misleading way to evaluate stocks. This applies to the Oando/Seplat/Aradel or Geregu/Transcorp Power etc SP comparisons too. To keep it simple in this particular case and using their FY'23 audited results, just find out their EPS and work out their PE. You will find that Etranzact is still cheaper. They are running their business more profitably based on FY'23 result o. Chams has got work to do to improve their financials. A recovery may well be in play but I haven't done any DD on them. Disclaimer - I'm not suggesting a buy or sell in either stock. 6 Likes 1 Share |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ololufemi: 6:31am On Sep 13 |
Omooloriredade: I am not comparing them in the way you insinuated. What I just shared was to show that the territorial nature of their business is different. Etranzact processes transactions for financial institutions across different countries especially in Africa, while the Chams seems to be more related to the local territory. |

Picky1: The 587b was a typo by the media but that's where the profitablity of japaul started. This government seems to be favoring local companies whilst foreign investors are taking positions really fast. Soon AUDIO GOLD will be chased by many as it be running faster than itself because the fuel will be excess. Follow the money 2 Likes |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Raider76: 8:20am On Sep 13 |
missphumby: Hmm.. It is 2006 to 2008 all over again. Many who have been in the market for years also missed Oando. It is part of the game. If you are coming into the market to get rich quick may be you should look elsewhere. 9 Likes |

missphumby:The stock market is full of Oando-like opportunities. What is important is to get into the market without procrastination. However, it must always be borne in mind that making money through the stock market is not a trial and error or emotion game but a function of deliberate research and understanding of the market. The OANDO you say you missed out on was such a laggard on the exchange for the past 12 years that no one ever had any reason to believe it could today become something anyone would have a reason to regret not buying. But here it is today. The units of OANDO I had before this rally were not bought by me because of any future hope in OANDO but because I bought them as far back as 2007 with a broker which was later suspended by SEC hence I couldn't sell them and God so kind I didn't bother about transferring them to another broker all this while else I would have sold them as soon as they arrived at the new broking firm. 3 Likes |
