NNPCL is negotiating price with dangote for themselves or for other marketers? NNPCL is looking for a monopoly or loopholes to confuse Nigerians on how much they actually buy and sell which is difficult in a deregulated market. |

Recently petrol price was far lower than this present price. When dangote private refinery was about to be completed the price rose astronomically, is it that they deliberately raise the price so that dangote can make higher profit? 1 Like |

alphaconde: Yes it would be cheaper compared to if he was buying in dollars or we were exporting.....incase you don't know, that crude is coming at a cost and it's not 200 or 300 naira he is buying.....you den have to include operating cost and then transportation to and from the refinery......if I am to hazard a guess,we should get it at between 800 to 950. |

DevilsEqual: Everybody is blaming Kyari but you are asking Kyari to sell petrol at less than landing costs. The problem to me is not Kyari, the problem is the landing cost of petrol either imported or via Dangote is more than the price acceptable to the public. The government has removed subsidy. So who is paying the difference? If NNPC is paying the difference then they will go broke as is now the case. The problem is not Kyari but political interference in NNPC. 1 Like |

Brendaniel:If you think he's not the problem, you don't know what is going on. He's selling to those countries as last resort. He might be lowering price to sell because he has no option left. Now let me ask u, why has he not made the price of PMS known ?? Do u think marketers will abandoned cheap products as he claims to buy where it's costlier?? |
Re: NNPCL Gives Update On Dangote Refinery Petrol Price, Purchase by spiSeyi: 11:05am On Sep 13, 2024 |
Biodun556:This is a childish talk, now let this sink it's PBAT that will determine the price of PMS as things stand else Dangote refinery will be frustrated . Dangote once said that his fuel can go as low as 400 even some marketers confirmed it. But Dangote fuel is the leverage PBAT government wants to use to pay the humongous loans and cover up the extravagant luxury lifestyle by this regime and the previous. T!nubu is busy working the math, maybe the pump price will be fixed at 1k at the end of the day |

Re: NNPCL Gives Update On Dangote Refinery Petrol Price, Purchase by Berankis: 11:09am On Sep 13, 2024 |
Biodun556:It won't be easy like that. They can actually f*ck him up if he is not careful. Don't forget he has $20Billion at stake. He has to thread with caution, so that his investment doesn't go down the drain like the rest of our refineries. Evil things no dey hard Nigerians to do, na good things dey hard them. They can destroy things in minutes but can't build same in years. |
