On a serious note, for people in the diaspora, wouldn't it be better to invest in these 17-18% bonds that last for years? You could simply repatriate $40,000 to $50,000, put it in one of those bonds, and use the returns to handle all those requests (wahala...) from your Nigerian family and relatives back home.

You could give out 1 million naira at random to any lucky family or friend every month, and they would love you for it without any further expenses on your part. Your initial $50,000 investment would still be there, though it might fall in value over time. But what do you care? It's just $50,000, right? And you can keep giving for years. shocked

Someone asked about the domestic dollar bond. It was over-subscribed.

The federal government had on Wednesday announced the raise of over $900m from its debut $500m domestic dollar-bond offer that closed last month, August 30,2024, with an interest rate of 9.75 percent per annum for 5 years.

It’s your money.
Not unlawful.
But for ease of management, one CSCS is usually advised. If you have more, it’s not a problem as long as you keep track of each account.
Same for CHN which implies you can have more than one broker too.
The advantage is you have the opportunity of an alternative if one is faced with challenges of maybe accessing the NGX platform occasionally.

This should not be an issue. smiley

If they want to continue 'importation' they'll have to source for their ForEx themselves.
In addition, there is no way the populace will buy from them at a more expensive rate per litre.

Sadly this shows that the 'subsidy collectors' are the cabal responsible for our failing naira

Key week ahead for Aradel holders, #9-10k seems like the resistance level. Stock split should still commence this coming week. On Wednesday, trading will be halted for t+3 and Monday upper week the new shares should be tradeable. Will it get more traction at a cheaper price or will investors sell down due to more shares in circulation. We watch. I am still holding tight in my position.

Oando's shareholders fund position can only improve a bit; I doubt if it would turn to positive with the 2024 results. May be in 2025 or 2026

Oando had a negative SHF of N214b in unaudited 2023 from a priot year negative SHF of N183b. Its rate of depletion of shareholder funds decelerated in 2023. The depletion of shareholder funds started in 2019 with a huge acceleration.

Looking at SEPLAT. Its shareholder funds increased in 2023 by N800b

Oando should be able to get a positive SHF in 2024 mid year assuming its unaudited 2023 is not restated. This is premised on SEPLAT's SHF growing by another N1000b in the first six months of 2024. Turning a negative N214b shareholder's fund to positive right now should not be a beggie for OANDO. Otherwise it has very very very serious issues.

You should first answer my question if your father or you have fire somewhere to throw you into or you throw your kinds if they commit. It is just logical reasoning. Then what about some one who created u in his image and likeness. Who has unimaginable love for you to the extent to sacrifice him self in human form through christ.

Then based on your scriptural verse.Go back and read from 41.You will see it was Chris teaching the importance of love to your fellow human. And all those body parts should not deprive you from extending love. And hell is the death of the physical body as a Christian. And Christ died and conquered death or hell so we can live with him forever through the forgiveness of sin which he paid with his blood

Make una no vex for me

Go back to that Mark 9 and check verse 47, Jesus Christ added fire to that hell. How does dead physical body feel fire? Why have you forgotten so fast that we all wish the souls of dead physical bodies to rest in peace.

Ways of God are not like that of men, the Bible says as heaven is far from earth, so the ways of God, far from that of men.

God is ever merciful, yet He came down locked the Noah boat and took away the key, and allowed flood to consumed the then world of billions of people. He is ever merciful, yet burnt down sodon and gomorah.

Bro, the loving God you know is also a consuming fire. You need to balance your knowledge of him.

As @agba is behaving now, make fun of the Word of God about hellfire, was how the then world of Noah and Sodom and gomorah continued to behave till the day fire rained upon them

You may be right, after all.
I was only being very conservative and cautious in my expectations of Oando's performance in 2024.

I read a report on the 2023 results stating that its oil exploration and production activity constituted only 4% of total revenue, but contributed 53% of operating profit and 41% of pre-tax profit, indicating very high margins.
If this trend is sustained or improved on, then the ENI assets (which fall under production) could make very huge impact for Oando, starting from Q3 2024

Oga na person way no sabi Bible you go tell all this. You are just after 10 %.You did not tell me whr you built the fire you will put your own children when they commit.
We all died through christ and Rose with him as believers. The bigger problem of nigeria is people like you in the body of christ who are quick to condemn. You put fear and lies in the mind of the people to collect money.
I personally have grown pass that in my spiritual journey. You people always pick a verse or few verses in the bible and misrepresent them out of context.Oga thr is no hell fire.It is the English bible that introduced that.It is hell which means death.
Show me whr hell or hellfire was mentioned in the old testament.
