By next week rates will be low if Dangote refinery is able to deliver the promised daily 25million petrol supply.

Sentiment favors stronger naira in the coming week

Haven't you read the book "The Animal Farm". Well that describes the NGX perfectly. Regulations don't apply equally to all companies.

Now that it is now in the open that NNPC will be the sole distributor for Dangote Refinery. What will be the faith of those currently locked-in on ETERNA?

Fg for now NNPC is the sole distributor of dangote refinery pms, with time other marketers will key in.it is really good news for eterna and other marketers,I am expecting a rally across all the marketers.

On a serious note, for people in the diaspora, wouldn't it be better to invest in these 17-18% bonds that last for years? You could simply repatriate $40,000 to $50,000, put it in one of those bonds, and use the returns to handle all those requests (wahala...) from your Nigerian family and relatives back home.

You could give out 1 million naira at random to any lucky family or friend every month, and they would love you for it without any further expenses on your part. Your initial $50,000 investment would still be there, though it might fall in value over time. But what do you care? It's just $50,000, right? And you can keep giving for years. shocked

Hmmmm, call $50,000 just.

That's not how we go about it here.
You may disagree with him but not an insult, rather you should give your own reason and make your contributions so that everyone can learn and also contribute to the discussion.

I hope I won't be insulted as well?

You ought to have ignored him. He is probably new to this thread and brought the regular vawulence to this thread.

We are here to learn and make money not for banters and rants.

What is the good news for Eterna? The situation is going to be the same. Only instead of some marketers importing on behalf of NNPC it is now Dangote supplying NNPC. That "FOR NOW" they said will be "forever" as they just reestablished the status quo. People just want to create a sense of rally. If I have Eterna I will rush to damp it on Tuesday.

I don't like arguing further; I've been very clear in what I said. The people who got help through my small post have already done so. If you work abroad with a plan for 3 to 5 years, you should have much more than $50k saved up (if you want me to explain why and how, just ask politely).

I understand how most guys get pressure from people back home - for burials, health issues, small business capital, school fees. Now, instead of sending money every now and then, you can simply take that $50k (must not be $50k, before you start again, please read like an intelligent person that you are) and invest it in Nigeria at 17 to 18% interest(Now, the chance is going as rates are coming down) . This way, you'll have no more worries; the proceeds can take care of all those expenses.

You can even use the returns to build up small investments without adding extra money, while you continue saving. I can tell you what nurses earn after tax, not from internet sources, but from the workers themselves. Again, if you're interested, just ask politely. shocked

very interesting take

More info on FMN- Hearing the CEO was very displeased with the rise in the share price last two days. And a trader has told me there might be an investigation as itโ€™s clear that the stock is being traded on material non-public info. If a CEO is displeased with his share price rising and theyโ€™re at SEC for a transactionโ€ฆ. put two and two together about what is happening in the companyโ€ฆ.

The accounts for one financial year must be audited and filed with statutory and regulatory bodies e.g. CAC, FIRS, NUPRC etc before interim or quarterly results of subsequent years can be released.
The FY2023 audited accounts for Oando is due for release by ending September
