A private equity firm that holds about 20% of the shares outstanding. They invested in the company a while ago, I think around #300 levels and are now looking to exit having made significant returns on their investment. Rumor has it that it could even be them pushing for the NGX listing for ease of exit (more traction/liquidity on NGX). But I doubt they can just dump their shares on the market like that, so I don’t think it’s anything to worry about as of yet, they will have to find a strategic buyer for the volume they hold and I have it on good authority that they will do an offer for sale Divineability: 3 Likes |

2nd highest dividend yield on the NGX in 2023 (14.31%). 60% year to date returns on the NGX in 2024 (as at 15th September 2024). Which company achieved all the above? SFS REIT. In this episode, we chat with Mr. Samuel Oshodipe (Real Estate investment Analyst, SFS REIT) about the real estate market, how COVID in 2020 affected valuations, how SFS REIT navigated that period skilfully, how the company produced stellar returns in 2023 and what the outlook for 2024 is. This is a really insightful conversation which retail investors will do well to pay attention to. https://open.spotify.com/episode/4fs4K2jVtDPaIVikTyw4NA?si=wXwC9aqTR_qfCL0jmZDMHA 6 Likes

I heard Dangrefinery sold way cheaper than the sum NNPCL is quoting to Nigerians. Anything to continue importation |

Mpeace: Shame on Nnpcl, you have 4 refineries which cannot provide Nigerians with a liter of fuel. 1 Like |

Mpeace:All these back n fort disclaimer within few days. becoming an Abuse of PR (Public Relations). That's how we Nigerians swallow every data released by NNPC when they were both sole importer/Regulator... (we no get choice) From fuel consumption, to import cost, etc. I wonder how their Financials would have been if they were listed. They need serious external auditors to act right. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Hello. May I kindly ask what the bond here is called? And do banks offer these? ositadima1: |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by designking: 7:59am On Sep 16 |
PuristForest: Sentiment favors a NASCON rally this week due to the Dangote refinery success. NASCON is Dangote third most important company after Dangote Cement. Dangote intend merging the Dangote Sugar and Dangote Rice with NASCON though the mergers failed. NASCON will rally at least 25% this week due to positive market sentiments and expectations for the Dangote Group. |

Mpeace: Dangote is trying to be smart by half and not look bad to Nigerians with the high price . He said absolutely nothing in that statement Simply tell us what price you sold to nnpc , you sold to them in dollars , won’t it be converted to naira for consumers to buy in Nigeria Probably waiting till October when he receives crude in naira , even at that, pricing might just be slightly better . The exchange rate is the Koko , that determines everything . All this things are simple basic economics , except there is a subsidy element Will love to be in dangotes shoes , his feasting has just begun 2 Likes

Feygbe: Go to https://www.dmo.gov.ng/ Under 'Bonds,' navigate to 'Bond Issuance Calendar.' The latest one available is for Q3. You may have to wait for the release of the Q4 calendar. Looking at the attached document, the last auction date listed is for today. Also, note that these are reopening bonds, meaning they were issued before, but the government has chosen to offer more of them. Yes, banks and brokerage houses offer Nigerian bonds. To invest in bonds through a bank, you may need to register for a separate investment account or complete additional paperwork. 1 Like

ositadima1: Why is it that interest rate on shorter bonds like 5 years always higher than long term years like 10 years when devaluation will have more effect on 10 years bond than 5 years bond. Under normal condition, a 10 years bond should have a better higher interest rate to cover for years of inflation and devaluation 1 Like |

Very simple , don’t we know the price he sells diesel , aviation fuel etc . I tell people i bought from you 1 naira and provide my evidence , you say No you dint , then tell us how much you sold it and your evidence . All So basic . I sign out on this 4 Likes |
