Thank you for this.
It's an open space, so can't say too much...but I was hoping for the Chilean passport for my child, that's my main concern. If there's enough time for me to get one as well, still good. But I won't be actively working towards that anymore, for myself.

I also sent you a private message, have you seen it?

Yeah I replied it

Chai since August 5th I paid the visa fees and summit the visa status still on sent still almost 6 weeks now

xaves:
It was showing sent for 2-3 weeks or so, then started showing under review. I didn't expect this thing to take time. If you don't want people in your country, just deny them entry please than keep their passport.

Hello Sir/Ma, I just submitted my application for VIVIS, Although I've been to Brazil before, my visa expired in February this year, so i am reapplying.

A friend helped with the previous application but currently not available, so am doing this application by myself. I have followed all the process but am not clear about the process on selecting courier as a means to transmit my documents to the embassy and i cant see that option on the online portal.
Secondly if am using courier kindly expansiate on the two way delivery, is it that I pay DHL for 2-in-1 parcels for both delivery and return?
Lastly, the Brazil consulate is close to my office, can I choose to deliver by hand?

I have booked my appointment through that portal using my passport, payment receipt and protocol page. Am yet to receive any confirmation email? How long does this take? Am I doing it wrongly or what other means can I use.

Appreciate your feedbacks

To everybody that wants to apply for a Brazil Visa this is the steps

Get all your documents ready(flight, hotel reservation, bank statement etc)

Create a profile on https://ec-lagos.itamaraty.gov.br/ after creating the profile you will see a manual form you have to print and fill manually, and other things you will need to submit on Brazil main website. The Visa fees and bank account will also be there.

Then visit https://formulario-mre.serpro.gov.br/sci/pages/web/ui/#/cidadao-nacionalidade you will need to translate to English, click on foreign citizen, then click on visa, fill the forms with the correct information and all. If you are applying for more than 1 person you have to fill the form for every body applying to get the visa, same at the lagos website too *when filling the form choose via courier to transmit your document to embassy*

After filling the form, and attaching your documents which include the manual form you filled and others specifically stated by the lagos ec, then go ahead and print the protocol page which has a space for passport and signature. Attach your passport picture and manually sign the page, then scan the page.

Sign in to your profile on https://ec-lagos.itamaraty.gov.br/ to upload your protocol page, proof of payment and international passport bio data page then click submit.

A mail will be sent to your email associated with the Ec lagos acct about your application being reviewed, at this stage you will have to mail your physical documents including your passport to the embassy in lagos(it will have to be a two way package delivery, you send to embassy then they send back to you)

After sending your documents to embassy visit https://formulario-mre.serpro.gov.br/sci/pages/web/ui/#/cidadao-nacionalidade then click on check status to see the status of your visa application

Wait Wait Wait.

Wish you success in your Visa Application

Probably they’re on leave.
No backlog

I am genuinely curious to understand the delay, is everyone of them on leave at the same time?
Is good for people to know their fate early so they plan to either re- apply or use their passport for other things. A friend was denied USA visa at first but with appeal, it was granted. This happened all within a month although there were additional fees, but it was granted.

There is nothing anyone here can do. Patience is the key.

Definitely we got nothing to do. My brother submitted since May 30th and till date, still on review for over 2 months and weeks now.
I submitted on June and till now showing REVIEW
Good number of months with no decision.
Some opportunities has come and pass while our passports has been in their custody.

Brazil is a very good country I live in Chile but with regards to social benefits Brazil has more. However, Brazil isnt as rich as like the US or Germany that will be paying asylum workers stipends for not doing anything so I dont see the point.

Maybe you can help. There is a new pathway to residency after graduation if you have a job offer. Which jobs are in demand in Brazil please?

Good day sir/ma
When filling the forms on the Brazil main website, there is section where it will show by courier, self or in person.

Secondly when you are about sending you will tell the dhl agent it for a visa process that you want a 2 way courier service(to the embassy and from the embassy) since you work close to the embassy. You can look for a DHL close to your office so the cost will be less. I don't think you can work into the embassy to drop off your documents.

The lagos embassy sometimes delay, it you don't get reply after 3 weeks try sending them mails. If they reply then go ahead and send your physical documents via courier

Goodluck

Honestly I don't know the jobs in demand. Brazil is a big country, with a lot of industries in various sectors of the economy.

It could be because loads of people are seeking asylum immediately after getting into the country which is taking a toll on their system.

The recent ugly news about what is happening at the Sao Paulo airports could be a serious variable to explain the current impasse.

Already Turkish and Qatar airlines have established a hidden embargo on passengers coming from Sub-Saharan Africa to Sao Paulo

My journey with Brazilian visa started January, I submitted online waited for invitation to submit hard copies till the program I wanted to attend passed. March, I reapplied with another event, this time I submitted immediately without waiting for invitation. May, immediately the event passed, I received mail from them that I should get invitation letter from the Organiniser of another event I want to attend in Brazil. I told them that I don't have any other event but will like to take vacation. I reapplied June And was invited for physical interview on July that was when my status turn to review. During the interview I was asked to provide some documents. I sent through mail but no response. I now decided to open another application.
Do you know that after I submitted hard copies my status went back to sent since July till date.

Turkish Airlines won't even let you book directly unless your departure is outside Nigeria.

I also need advise on the jobs and part of the country to get what I want, but am waiting for visa to be approved first before I do research on that.
Am working remotely with a Nigerian company and want to know if I can get a remote work within the 6months in Brazil and come back.

The Nigeria job is too stressful, working 11hours per day and there's no pay. I don't think they will allow me to travel abroad as they are the one that have the working tools.

What am looking for is a Nigerian who have gotten the Brazil visa from Nigeria and has gone to brazil so the person can give me details on visa application and point of entry stories like they do in the U.S thread.
This thread has all of what you say you looking for, if you read from page 1, you will find more than enough. So many personal experiences on visa application process and actual travel have been dropped. It's here hidden in writing.

Your work is probably hybrid. A fully remote job doesn't care where you are located as long as you show up online do the job and turn in your results as expected.
But if your job is so stressful and doesn't pay why are you so eager to keep it by going to Brazil secure a remote job then return to Nigeria to continue the " no pay" job?
