That's why i always quote that verse whenever i come in contact with anyone who claims he is an atheist because i'm 100% certain that most people don't really do a thorough investigation they just summed up after hearing some things from different sects claiming Christians and base their conclusion on what those people say.

The Bible God is the one and only true God but since you don't want to investigate further let me tell you how i come to that conclusion.

All humans were born atheists as in we don't know nor believe in any God at birth that's why the Bible said the child in his mother's womb is also a sinner {Psalms 51:5} so it's after we begin to grow up that each person starts to make his or her INVESTIGATIONS on:
• How did life begin?
• Why do innocent people suffer?
• Did God really care about us?
• If He does what is He doing to solve our problems?
• If everyone wants peace why wars everywhere?
• What is God's viewpoint of wars?

Whoever hasn't made INVESTIGATIONS on this topics is just deceiving himself!
