NIGERIA’S fragile democracy undergoes another massive scrutiny as the governorship election occurs throughout Edo State on September 21 (tomorrow). Amidst the tensions, resentment, and open acrimony, the will of the people must prevail. Any other outcome is a disservice to democracy. Therefore, the umpire, the security agencies, and the Federal Government must ensure free, fair, and credible polls that will be acceptable to all parties. https://punchng.com/edo-election-let-the-peoples-will-prevail/ 1 Like

The election will be the typical "Do or Die" Nigerian standard election we are accustomed to. Ballot box snatching, killings, lootings and violence will be the order of the day. Our votes will not count. Quote me after the election. |

In saner climes, the election would be between PDP and LP because it turns out the APC’s candidate is nothing but the captain of DUNDEE United. Unfortunately, LP doesn’t have the clout so he probably won’t stand a chance. Asue seems a pretty nice guy but Edo people just aren’t ready for an MOU government. 1 Like 1 Share |

Please focus on what matters to your life. If votes truly count, politicians will not allow the process. Ignore these people called politicians and live your lives outside the demonic, wicked and poverty system they have created in which they call government. |

Everyone cheats in Nigeria. No party is innocent. Forget that thinking that one party is not trying to cheat. They are all trying but at the end of the day the people's will normally prevail especially with the bvas. It's impossible to sit in your house and write results like they used to do. 1 Like 1 Share |
