I submitted March 2nd 2024 and just got mine on 17th September- my birthday. I believe they are still attending to March applicants and even earlier. I pray for favourable responses for everyone still awaiting responses.

I was denied visitor Visa to Canada
I used an Agent to apply
When he wanted to apply for me he asked for only the front data page of my passport
He was delaying, I did my biometrics Feb 24th 2024 so I requested for GCMS note through a family friend in Canada. Saw that I was denied July 21st. The Agent used all wrong information for me, my mother name and age was wrong, my daddy name and age was wrong, the university I attended was wrong. All personal details was wrong. And now I am processing US university and fortunately I have secured PI in USA university. I know Canada and USA share information. So the question is what do you advise I can do?? Thank you

Yes, currently IRCC favors family visits for families of PRs and citizens, but a person with a good travel history can still apply as a tourist. In my opinion, however, it is not a good time now for a first-timer with no strong travel history or family in Canada to apply for a Canadian tourist visa!

When you pay via the bank, either online or at a branch, the evidence of your payment, using the beneficiary name: Canada Logistic Collection Account, is proof of your transmission fee being paid. Just include that in your submission.

This is exactly what happened to my cousin , The crazy agent messed him up with incorrect information about his work history and parents, and he ended up getting rejected but not ban . However, he was lucky enough to get a scholarship to study in the USA. He filled in his actual information, and the only question they asked about Canada during the interview was whether he knew anybody or had any family members in Canada, to which he said no. His visa was granted and his now a student in usa but he decide not to apply Canada visa again for now. maybe till later in future when he get a green card and will not needed a visa to Canada!
I think it's best to stick to your real information when applying for the U.S. visa.

I ticked Homemaker in the employment section since she is a stay-at-home-mum and won't like to use the unemployed option.
The challenge now is that, employment letter is to be uploaded in the document section.
How do I go about this? Do they expect a homemaker to be employed? Since it is another name for housewife

It would have been better for you to picked employed, since she's going for a tourist visa, yes you might been thinking that how will you get employment letter which is very easy, that's why sometimes is better you know an experience agent handle it for everything for you, you family ties and home ties and pof re mostly the deciding factors for them granting visa, usinf an agent you can get any documents that u yourself donr even have but they will bring it out and you will be surprised how is done but you doing it yourself where do you think you will get the documents?

I had my biometric on December 22, 2023.
Till this very moment no "UPDATE YET" on my application according to the Witchcraft Agent each time I inquired.

It's embarrassing to say that for 9 good solid months someone has been playing on my intelligence.

Please to those who understands the system more than I do, how do I access my GCMS note?
I'm willing to furnish and provide ALL the information, UCI digits.

Good morning, Lol @ Witchcraft agent , Okay yours is 9 months mine is 10 months(I applied in Nov 2023) let me start from there. I do not know about your agent but my agent I too was not sure if she was telling me the truth so I requested that she give me access to my application because it was her email address she used for the application.

Then someone here advised me to get my GCMS note to know my application status which I have applied for and waiting for.

Sometimes it is not the agent's fault when it comes to delay that is from IRCC. I will search through the post to get the steps on how to get your GCMS note that will give you the current status of your application and hopefully, it will all end in praise.

I hope this helps and I am sure others will add to this as well.
