Ayomide98: It was a lot to put together in one question. I started sounding like I was rambling. Yes I said the 1M savings with my other savings accrues to $10000 |

Estherr1: 🤠 * I would also have denied you the VISA (based on the laid down trainings), if i were the Consular Officer. 1. Your funding is not a funding. It is an entrance scholarship or entrance funding , in order to ease or minimise your fear of paying a whole $27, 750. Therefore, your deficit is actually $27, 750. 2. YOU- I’m going for my Masters in exercise science and kinesiology at Western Illinois university Macomb , Illinois. ** Normally, when going for a study-abroad, you ought to have chosen a course of study that is very scarce or not available in your country or region. Why going for Exercise Science? Perhaps, it was easier to secure Form- I20? OR, how does it relate to your vision or your present career ? 3. CONSULAR - Have you traveled to other countries ? This is a bait question in order to catch your intention. VOs knows that most applicants will quickly frequent UK, SA, Cotonou and Ghana etc, and rush back to apply for USA VISA in order to fake travel history. YOUR ANSWER: Yes I was in the UK earlier in May (You should have stopped here) , and I spent 3 weeks touring London, Edinburgh and Glasgow (unnecessary additions to tell the consular how well you have travelled). 4. CONSULAR - I see you have a deficit of $27,000, who would be paying for that? This answer is too long and over emphasized. Every consular , including myself, will conclude that this is a Pre-meditated or Memorized transcript. ** YOU - I have a scholarship that covers over 25% of my tuition. And personally, I have saved 1M naira from my business proceedings for the past one year and this accrues to $10,000 which would be going towards my program. The rest of my deficit will be covered by my dad, he is an engineer and the managing partner of….. construction services, a firm with over 15 years experience in structural and infrastructural construction projects. They have a staff strength over 40 and they’ve executed projects in 12 out of the 36 states in Nigeria and they make over 250 million naira in profit annually. He’s also the proprietor of ….. college, a renowned secondary institution in Ondo state. With a population of over 500 students from different parts of the country. Altogether, he personally makes an excess of 90 million naira annuaally. 🙏 1 Like |

OyoTunjiUSA:Thanks for this feedback🙏🏽 I am a physiotherapist and I own a spa, which is why I chose the masters but I wasn’t able to say that |
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 18 by RealTrump: 4:43pm On Sep 23 |
Estherr1: You r a physiotherapist going to study something related to exercise n you have your own business. I believe your case is actually a lot stronger than you make it seem. Seems you sold yourself short in the interview n didn't dream big enough for your business...think venture capital funding 1 Like |

Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 18 by RealTrump: 4:49pm On Sep 23 |
Estherr1: The VO sort of asked you in the first question of why are you going to the US. I am going to this school. I own this business, I want to take it to this height n this is how this masters will help me get there. I understand people will tell you to keep it short, but I don't subscribe to it, if your case looks obscure, it's your job to shed light on it. I understand it's not easy as you might be waiting for the VO to ask you the question verbatim, but you would need to attack at the get go. |

Spanishmilf: 🤠 1. The best time to apply for graduate study is when your over all CGPA, and other academic standings have been finally decided by your school. Every graduate applicant, even some undergraduate needs transcripts to have the final admission decision, so, how will you request for your transcripts without the final year result ? Cool down, you are done already, all you need is patience. PS: You don't need website. Google is all you need. Google Public Research Universities in the United States , and email each graduate admissions office of each school with your enrollment query. 🙏 2 Likes |

Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 18 by Dot1(m): 8:33pm On Sep 23 |
Oshynana: So it's a B1/B2 visa category for my Mom and not F1. I opened a support ticket, explained the issue and uploaded a copy of the payment confirmation from the bank. After waiting a week or so, I just logged in one day and I saw that they moved me to the next step in the process and the payment was confirmed. Note, they didn't update the ticket that I created, they just fixed the issue and I closed the ticket. 3 Likes |

Mine is B1/B2 as well. Thank you, I will go ahead and open a support ticket as well Dot1: |
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 18 by Dot1(m): 10:01pm On Sep 23 |
towontoprecious: You should. I think, when they resolve technical issues at the highest level, they then start to address each ticket that has been raised. If you did not raise a ticket, you might not be on a queue for resolutions. |

Hello house, Please I need your advise, I want to apply b1b2 for my wife and my two kids. I HV been to US and Canada once and my visa is still valid. How will I go about it and what are there chances in getting the visa |
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 18 by OyoTunjiUSA(m): 11:50am On Sep 24 |
jubrilar: 🤠 1. You will align their VISA applications towards your travel history. Eg, you want your nuclear family to enjoy the next Xmas holiday in America. But you have to be careful b/cos they are your ties to Nigeria. 2. Your wife needs to display genuine intentions, her ties to Nigeria (eg kids attends so n so schools where you pays millions in school fees), and POF for the trip. , PS: Ask your future B1/B2 questions in the relevant thread. This is for F1 (study). 🙏 |

Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 18 by GboyegaD(m): 5:29pm On Sep 24 |
vickysunmomi: Do you intend visiting home or you are going solely because of the visa renewal? If the former, then try to get a date before you go home; if the latter, you could try to get a Canada visit visa, go to Canada to do your interview. You can then visit Nigeria whenever you want to. |
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 18 by Ayomide98: 5:43pm On Sep 24 |
@shueld Can I provide my WhatsApp digit, so we can have direct contact in following up with our case, i don’t have the energy to keep coming here on this site everyday to follow up, I don’t think people who have similar cases here are enthusiastic about getting a date. |

Vanjori: Hi bro, are you also a victim of this? When did you make payment? |
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 18 by OyoTunjiUSA(m): 6:52pm On Sep 24 |
Vanjori: 🤠 * People should be very very careful in joining any WhatsApp Group that is not officially authorized by the mods/admin of this thread. 1. This particular open forum is the best repository of information , about any F1 VISA questions or query any applicant could be seeking answers for . The payment and appointment situation on AVITS, is understandable, and does not warrant any escalation or exaggeration. 2. Mind you, there is no group, organization, forum or even a law court that can change or overturn USA embassy VISA policies or timeline. You cannot win them , because they are never at fault in VISA policy and procedures. 3. Be warned ! WhatsApp group can easily be manipulated. Don't join any group whatsoever that is not officially announced by the admin. 🙏 3 Likes |
