I will like to convert my car to CNG.

Please if you have convert your car, how cost efficient is it? Does it worth it? And does it burn quick than petrol? How many kilometers can the kit cover when filled up?

I'm also asking for a friend driving commercial car that will like to change.

How long does it take to convert. And pls have you relate with anyone using it. I just want to have first hand information before coughing out that huge amount.

I watched a video on TikTok this evening where a lady was claiming conversion will require frequent servicing of the car.

This is not true sir.
As a matter fact, your periodic servicing will be elongated due to the fact that it is very clean unlike PMS.

I will give u one analysis below..
First off, CNG is not measured by kg. Here are some technical information so you can understand more.

CNG:

@230/L

15scm = N3,450 Naira = average of 160km travel.

LPG/cooking Gas:

@ N1,000/kg

15kg = N15,000 = avg of 168KM travel.

Petrol:

@600/L or so...

21litres = #12,957 = 168Km travel

I think this will also help Nigerians in the cost savings For the same distance covered (i.e 168km).

When compare prices of Petrol - LPG - CNG:

N12,957 : N15,000 : N3,450 respectively.

If you see the way the lady was analysing it, that the engine will be running dry because of the absent of little present of oil that petrol contain
