Many people don’t know you can do many currency conversions on Revolut without any charges. I’ve done Euro to pounds. Pounds to dollars and Dollars to pounds conversions with it, all on separate occasions .

Please what platform do you use to buy shares and indexes ? Also, can one buy them on a Student visa?

Hello, just sent you a mail. 🙏🏾

There are no buzzwords per se. Its how you structure your responses to show you are utilising the skills you say you have.
For example, STAR is an excellent way to show how you meet the behaviours. I always advise going a bit further and make it STARR (ie add what you would do differently nezt time in the same situation or your specific learnings from that situation) which then ties into continuous improvement
Send me an email and I'll send you some examples of behaviour responses I've used amd now also use for L and D development sessions at work

Oh dear, couldn’t help but imagine what this forum would have been like in early august while I was off. Very close to what I imagined 💀
kwakudtraveller:

Your whole argument has been “I don’t support the violence,” BUT abc. That, BUT is the problem, especially as this platform is filled with black Africans. If you want to speak from both sides of the mouth, perhaps go to Reddit, where you'll have the "balanced" audience that you are looking for.

I just mentioned the white assailant chasing a Muslim couple with a chainsaw, and now you’ve come with the same "whatsaboutism" of white people also getting attacked as if they are the main target (the same thing Claremont accused you of doing, so now I hope you see the trend).

Besides, no one is asking you to join the force or go out for an anti-protest, so don’t try to play the victim card; everyone expects you to understand their fear and how mentality exhausting it is as opposed to sitting comfortably in the middle with your stomach facing the assailants.

Missjekyll mentioned that they tried to burn down a hotel, and you said she shouldn’t spread fake news. Based on your logic with the fire, they were probably trying to roast corn and not burn the hotel to the ground.

Traffic was being organised based on skin colour, with white people getting access and black and brown people being told they couldn’t go through. If you don’t see the problem with your logic and what is actually happening then I have nothing else to say to you.

Abeg try stay safe and don’t go out to these areas where they are rioting, because remember that you are also dark skinned (according to your posts) before they see you as meat to attack, as you won’t be holding your Nairaland post of defence on your chest for them to see.

Goodenoch:

That's not what you were asked though.

Your training must have also taught you to respond to questions with empty answers that say a lot but mean nothing, because you seem very good at it. I don't mean that to be offensive BTW - It's actually a good skill to have in some professions.

The question you were asked is "is that what you told your friend whose husband was attacked"?

Or, if your husband was attacked, would you tell him "darling sorry about this gash in your head but did you know that the government is spending 8 million on asylum seekers daily? And in fact did you also know that the UK is not training as many nurses as it needs? Those are the underlying issues why you were attacked"

Deleted post by Hustla but couldn’t have captured my stance any better!!! Especially for the “very legal immigrants” here who used to form “voice of reason” before. Can’t lie that some comments from certain “voice of reason” accounts really shocked me like, wau, so you can say this I guess na when your day break be morning 🥹

“”
I remember being on this thread, ranting about how immigrants, especially legal immigrants like students are portrayed by the English media...

I also remember some people here defending their racist actions and portrayal of immigrants, same people who now would be afraid to go out due to the anti immigrant protests going on right now

I hope we can all see that no matter the spree spree English you speak with your nose and the government you defend cos you feel you're now part of them, you're still black and a bloody immigrant at the end of the day

Light n*gga, dark n*gga, faux n*gga, real n*gga
Rich n*gga, poor n*gga , house n*gga, field n*gga..
... Still n*gga

please advice on what to do..
after a very long wait I got a defined certificate of sponsorship, I noticed my passport issued and expire date are different from the one on my cos... same month and year but different date...
please what can I do

You don’t need a visa as a Nigerian passport holder, just buy a return ticket and hold your valid brp or uk visa along if you’re returning to the uk. At the airport when boarding you just need to show your return ticket and the date you’re leaving the carribean islands (most important).

Jamaica isn’t visa free

You definitely need a Visa to visit Jamaica as a Nigerian passport holder.

Hi Everyone, some serious advice needed here.

A friend of mine on the 5 year path to ILR(skilled worker visa) is not getting her contract renewed.
1. How long can she remain legal in the country after her current visa expires while she searches for a job?

2. How long can she be on this break from a Tier 2 visa before the 5 year clock to ILR resets.

I ve had a read through the guidance (very arcane) and wondered whether my reading of it was correct.

Thanks Everyone for having a read of my question

From my reading, the answer to both questions is 2 weeks.

From the guidance you posted, it appears that the 14 day period is a discretionary grace period that may or may not be granted depending on the person's circumstances if they eventually file an application within that period after their visa has expired.

SInce they are already in the UK the best thing is to book a date with an Immigration Expert lawyer and they can give him/her the best Advice and all options available. It might cost a token say 100 quid but its worth it.They should not play with it as everyone seems to be an expert these days even those wey never enter airport B4.

Hello Everyone.

Please, has anyone recently travelled to Egypt from the UK? I want to find out if visa on arrival is applicable to Nigeria passport holders with BRP or one has to process his/her visa via their consulate here in London before travelling?

Kindly assist if you have any information or experience on this. Thanks.

Cat N(non structural) is the best type of write-off to buy......

Have you seen pictures of the vehicle, after it was categorised......

You would get a considerable discount buying the vehicle....... So only buy with a long term view of ownership, or else when you intend to sell, it would also be priced as if you stole it ........😜

NB: Also point to consider, an insurance company would not write a vehicle off twice (take note)......😚

CAT N, I bought for my daughter last month....... Her brother would be inheriting this from her .......😂😜..... Saved over £3000 vs clean title...... 😊

My first car in the UK was this....but ended in premium tears. The engine was leaking. I had to be buying engine oil every market day .After 3 months of frustration of one issue or the other I sold the car... Ford focus

What I bought 3,000 I sold for 800. It was very painful to me. The so called repair was patch patch repair

You might not have the same experience and might be lucky but this was mine so I don't touch cat anything cars , especially as lady who clueless on cars

I need your advice, guys.

Can my uncle use my address for his UK visit visa even though he will not be staying with me when he comes? He will be staying in a hotel during his stay. But he doesn't want to book yet and is hoping he can use my address just for the application. He is sponsoring himself and shouldn't have a problem proving his financial capabilities. We only need to find out if using my address can work. By the way, I stay in a two-bedroom flat with a friend, and I am on a Graduate Visa with almost 2 years of validity.
Thanks

You can buy on Trading 212. I hope you know that the value of your investments can up or down. You can also put your money in their cash Isa, if you dont want risks. It's currently 5.1% AER , the highest I have seen.

You can join with link below. It doesn't matter if you're a student, as far as you're in the UK legally.
