Let me add to this. The moment you are in an accident , your insurance will be null and void. It happened to a company driver. Guy was in an accident. When we claimed insurance it turned out his licence had lapsed a day or so before. Company had to pay and the guy was sacked.

May we not be in a situation where we find out the importance of any car papers

If you have a death on site and it is reported, you will find out just how many licenses and processes you need to operate.

Unfortunately , about two weeks ago the guy passed on after weeks in the hospital . Our insurance people have negotiated with the family and they came up with 5m compensation for the deceased family.

If our driver was not having a drivers license he will be in jail now and even the insurance company will not be willing to pay for all the medical expenses and compensation of 5m for his family .

And yes, we had to pay police to let things go as we already have an agreement with the family.

E get some kind things u eyes go see ehn, u will never want to be on the wrong side of the law in this country .

I last bought generator in 2020

I bought 2.6 kva and 3kva

My normal policy na replace every 2 years or when cumulative repair costs have passed cost of procurement.

I was about to buy one when I saw sunec sells 'half engine at 183k.so I am at their showroom right now having the half engine fixed to my gen. They are fking me in the arse on installation costs, but hopefully I Will sha have a working gen at reduced cost.

Ibinabo killed that Doctor as a result of reckless driving . The court records showed that it was her over speeding that led to her jeep crossing to the other lane and ended up killing the man.

To the best of my knowledge , there’s no law in Nigeria that says anything about expired tyres. Any FRSC official saying he’s enforcing the law as it partains to expired tyres is a thief that is just trying to exploit u.

What is an offence is driving with worn out tyres . Worn out Tyre is not the same as expired Tyre. When they claim ur Tyre is expired , all they do is add 4 years to the manufacturing date of ur Tyre arbitrarily and claim ur Tyre is expired once the numbers don’t add up.

But a worn out Tyre is obvious to the eye; everyone can identify a worn out Tyre through normal eye test .

Next time FRSC officials say they want to fine u for expired Tyre, ask them to show u the exact le they are enforcing . They won’t be able to show u any law to that effect because such law doesn’t exist.
