Are the drones for Ukraine or against Ukraine?

China set a world record by staging the largest drone show in history. They launched 7,598 UAVs simultaneously, all controlled from a single laptop.

That is a failure of Khamenei's leadership, not a measure of Iran's strategic importance.

Iran came rushing in with critical drone and missile deliveries while China and North Korea dithered.
China still supplies military parts to Ukraine.

Iran has had more than a decade to become entwined with the Axis, but Khamenei wanted a high level of independence and stubbornly refused overtures from Russia and China to integrate militarily. Instead preferring to develop homegrown alternatives for technologies the Axis have perfected. While the Axis helped Kim finally become a nuclear power, Khamenei rebuffed Axis' advice to get nuclear going.

It's blown up in his face.
But do not mistake one leader's id*ocy for a country's capabilities.

What are you saying? There's absolutely nothing like "strategic importance " when you don't have the military might to defend your territory/borders. The mistakes are too many. Remember the passenger airline that took off from Tehran which was shot down in 2020 by the IRGC? For now Khamenei is Iran, Iran is Khamenei.

Dude, are you comparing North Korea and Chinese contributions to Russia. LolšŸ˜‚. Maybe when the Iranian government learn how to separate religion from governance of a Sovereign State, we will have a discussion. For now, Hezbollah is sending congratulationsšŸŽ‰šŸ„³šŸ‘ to Nasralla for attaining martyrdom.

@ the bolded, anybody who says otherwise is not just dumb but foolish. There's news that Khamenei has been moved to a more secure location in Iran. These people are clowns, Iran should sue for ceasefire already.

Calma.
The mullahs are id**ts is not news.
No one here disagrees with you on that.

I simply do not understand why you're conflating Khamenei with Iran.
Iran has had dozens of regimes.
Before the mullahs, there were the Pavlavis, the Qajars, the Afsharids, the Sassanians, the Parthians.

Khamenei's incompetence has a threshold.
When he exceeds it, he'll be unceremoniously ejected.
And because Iran is of strategic importance to the Axis Powers, they'll thankfully have an input on who succeeds the mullahs.

This one has no brain to contribute to intelligent conversations.

All his contributions have been mostly one sentence, saying somebody will learn and calling people terrorists if you disagree with him.

One of the few people on this thread I have never seen post anything sound or intelligent.

Very funny šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

The rest of the Hezbollah should wait for their turn. Martyrdom go reach all of them.

Heaven needs them more than earth needs them.
Re: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by shoodboi2: 3:11pm
Calling their dead "martyrs" is less of a sign of excessive religiousness and more of an indicator of copism.

Most middle east countries call their dead martyrs.

Even Palestinians call the civilians Israel kills martyrs. It's just them trying to cope with the death of a loved one.

šŸ„€ Iran's news agency Mehr confirms the martyrdom of Brigadier General Abbas Nilforooshan, the IRGC's deputy chief for operation, in the same attack that murdered Sayyed Nasrallah.

He is the second Iranian casualty in Israeli attacks in the past two weeks, after the injury of the Iranian ambassador in the pager attack. He lost his eyes and fingers.

Another Iranian advisor was killed alongside Foad Shoqr a month and a half ago.

Yet, not one high profile of the Zionists is unalived.

Lessons from the destruction of Hezbollah's leadership: you could be next...

They are obvious and unambiguous. Any kind of @@eating" and "by@@ism" always lead to defeat and destruction.

We will not list all the lessons (as a banality a la ā€œmight is rightā€), we will simply pay attention to one of the lessons.

For me personally, itā€™s a mystery who and why, when after the ā€œpager attackā€ it was clear that Israel controls all communications in Hezbollah, gathered the entire leadership of the organization in one place. And thereby setting her up for beheading, itā€™s incomprehensible to me.

Well, one more hello to all our military (at the front and not), who ā€œfor convenienceā€ still use applications such as WhatsApp and Google Play, etc. Sooner or later it will come back to haunt you. Unfortunately, not only for you, but also for the country. Therefore, I think this lesson should become clear not only for Iranian proxies, but also for our military. And not only for them. For all security forces.

Well, letā€™s now go into our ā€œapplesā€ (they are so convenient) and see what software we have there.

Did you see? Well, that's it. You could be next. The jokes, as we see, are already over. The game began in earnest.

It appears that both sides are using it. I cannot confirm who launched it first but in mechanised wars where both sides have high tech capabilities, both sides will copy and build weapons they see the other side use.

In this case, who built it first is less important than who has it in enough quantity to cause considerable damage.

And on this, I'll like to agree that Russia has more of it than Ukraine. So, Ukraine will find itself going up against Russian fire breathing drones, even if Ukraine was the first to deploy them to the battlefield.

Iran is a Theocracy. You cannot separate Iran from Khamenei. Mentioning different regime that has ruled Iran is you scoring own goal because the last regime before the Ayatollah (The Pahlavis) didn't align with USSR. In fact it worked against USSR in the cold war. There's no guarantee that the next regime will cooperate with Russia. That's how unstable Iran is. Strategic importance my foot. I'm telling you that Russia nor China will not put soldiers on ground to defend Iran if they go to war with Israel you dey tell me strategic importance.

The power of religion.

Seems Shia Muslims love cheap death alot.

Some thing with Shia in Nigeria.

They don't fear death and it comes to them easily.
This is crazy
Woke up to saw the news and I thought it was just propaganda until I saw itā€™s real.
Now I understand reason Russia government havenā€™t signed military pact with Iran unlike China and North Korea.
Iranian government are supposed to be superior leader of all Shia Muslims meaning strong military yet they have be killing their officials like flies.

Iran has spent a lot of money and talked a lot of shit. Israel has called their bluff, and Iran has done nothing.
Iranian government supported Syria government with advisors and financial yet same Iran government canā€™t defend their interests in Lebanon and at home.
Imagine killing this 2 guys, as in those are the most feared Shia leaders maybe thatā€™s the reason Azeri government that is a Shia nation refused to listen to Iran

I might have overrated Iran backed fighters like they just killed their superiors like flies because even chicken are killed with respect

The time they should be using to strategize, they rather spend it tying heavy looking 2 bags of cements on their heads.

You are right.

No argument here. It's not about who did it first, it's who did it better and cheaper.

For instance, the Chinese Chengdu J-10 fighter jet is based on USA F-16. It's cheaper and most likely as effective, though not yet tested in battle. Even Iranian Shaheed drones was based on USA reaper drones but it's way cheaper and get the job done, as we have seen.

USA/Ukraine needs to figure out how to mass produce these things at scale and at cheaper price if they ever hope to go toe to toe with their enemies

But they signed one with North Korea.

Sometimes there's quality in quantity. Iran is home to one of the largest military personnel in the Middle East. Enough cannon fodders to exhaust NATO weapons... probably the strategic importance LordAdam16 is talking about.
