airmark: Perhaps you shouldn't have opposed the assertion prioritizing support cast. It's conflicting to oppose that and at the same time desirous of a LWF. The idea of reinforcement is to get the job done by winning us games and that is happening already. Castigating a player who has outscored all EPL strikes bar Haaland and Duran, and complemented it with 3 assists is hatred taken too far. Gen Z? That shouldn't be me. I am mate with your elders on here. You need to know that dogmatism is not the same as discernment. 5 Likes |

We are still playing chaos ball just like under Poch which is bringing in results. What we saw in pre season with what we are playing now is totally different. We have Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, Newcastle and Aston villa in our next six league matches. Enzo is about to face a baptism of fire. All these talk of topping table and being contenders after 6 games are so premature and hilarious. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

airmark: Have you always had high expectations from your strikers or e just dey start,We all know Chelsea have always not been lucky with a deadly finisher,This is the return of your best ever striker and Legend..... I wish to know your opinion about him back then

Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by airmark(m): 9:35am On Sep 29 |
amodu: Spending over 1bn without a clinical finisher, is foolishness. That's why we are not topping the table today. I was all about focusing more on our attack and we tried but we still failed to bag a clinical finisher. We should be eyeing the title and not reason like Aston Villa fans. amodu: This is how you detect a poor football analyst of a striker. How many big chances did other strikers get? Only yesterday, we saw the number of big chances he missed because of lack of instinct in front of goal. Like Jackson, you are a joke. amodu: If you were truely supporting Chelsea before 2000 like me, and still ok with a striker that can't strike the ball, then you are 100% a casual fan. You shouldn't have watched strikers like Hasselbaink, Flo, Drogba, Costa and be comfortable with Jackson's feeble attempts at goal. It's like you are an elder with a childish football brain. |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by airmark(m): 9:44am On Sep 29 |
Amigoss: I analyse strikers based on chances they get and their conversion of chances. I have had this argument with Dayo and won't renew it with you. Drogba scored 29 goals when he played in an ultra attacking system. |

Kimbeast:Chelsea has never been a slow starter in the season. If there's quality and competence it would be seen from the start of the season. If it's going to be a crap season it will also hlbe obvious from the start as well. No be today we begin face Liverpool, Arsenal and co. We have a confident start to the season so there's no reason not to be optimistic. |

Kimbeast: You have a strong point but a fit Lavia drastically reduces the chaos from the middle of the park to the back, there was this very risky pass from Sanchez to Lavia which he did a beautiful half turn, I immediately imagined Caicedo receiving that same pass, Sanchez too doesn’t help with his jittery passes |

Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by nateevs(m): 12:39pm On Sep 29 |
lajid: And if my Grandma had wheels, she would have been a bike. Maresca understands the Jackson moves the ball during build-up play with alacrity; which allows his system to work effectively. The system relies on all support casts arriving in the box for a higher xG. Maresca understands that the sacrifice is that Jackson is not as clinical as Haaland, and he still misses a handful..... but the collective team effort will be better for it. It's very similar to what Maresca said about Sanchez's mistakes yesterday. Remove Jackson, put Osimhen, and xG for all support casts probably reduces. Osimhen probably doesn't even get to be in position to miss the chances that Jackson is missing in the first place. Overall movement, fluidity and collective effort reduces, which could reflect on overall scoring output.... whereas Osimhen might be topping the charts in the league. This is how system football works. It does not mean that "removing this player for that player", and now everything starts to click. The only way it works better is if you can find a player that combines the best qualities of Jackson and Haaland. Don't let actors like Airmark tell you otherwise. 12 Likes |

DumaEmpire:To be honest we really suffered under this guy. After 2 matches in the season i knew he was going to be crap. I didn't even bother coming here to argue with anybody after this rant. Maresca God bless you abeg. Poch gave most of us headaches after each matchday. Like i said earlier you don't need to first watch 20 games to know if your team has what it takes or not. Just a couple of games is enough to know the direction |
