The boy looks like someone on a mission to bench Odegaard.
Very very impressive!
Exactly what I need from him, the competition would be stiff

We'll need it badly. Infact, let MA be rotating them. This one play UCL on Wednesday, the other automatically balls on weekends. Like that like that. Will keep the creativity sustainable, fresh and up there. We need that creativity arc rising. Will love to see a lethal Left wing when Merino resumes. Nelli creating space for a backpass to California or Merino to shoot or cross will be sweet. If only we had a punisher in air at the centre.

Champions League ke? cheesy You go sabi take risks ooo
I’d love for Arteta to play him against those small clubs in the premier league, inasmuch I want him in the team, Ordegarrd is very important to us.

Not him specifically. But rotation as deem fit. Normally, if Odegaard is fit, he's the go-to choice for UCL undisputed.

City too were supposed to crush Newcastle 10-0, but the match ended 1-1.

You people just talk as if the players left their homes with the mindset of coming to lead 2-0 and then conceding 2 goals to draw level and give everybody high blood pressure.

Arteta has admitted It was worrying we lost the two goals advantage but was impressed with how we responded and secured the win. Have I said anything different from that? 🤷‍♂️

I don’t understand. You want to compare Newcastle game with Leicester? Really? When has Leicester being competitive.

No one, no even Leicester will come to the match hoping that Arsenal don’t beat them. What’s your point?

Like I said, Leo already admitted their goof, Arteta just re emphasized what Leo said.

What we are saying is that Arsenal shouldn’t come into games and midway into the game lose focus on the objectives making opponents get back into the game because thats the most logical step they would want to take.

I really don't understand why some set of fans will be happy with our performance against Leicester team with the aim of becoming a champion comes May. It is good they came back to reclaim the 3 points but we might not be this lucky against a well organised team. We should be blowing midtable teams apart and not give a glimpse of hope of coming back not even at the Emirates. It is the more reason why some pundits are still doubting our credentials even if we are 10 points ahead of Manchester City with 10 games to go. The boys and the coaching crews need to get serious and be determined to wrestle away the title from the champion. We can't avoid to fail this time after being the runner up on two consecutive occasions. It will be unacceptable for me as a fan if we didn't win the league.

So did Leo or Arteta tell u they came into the game to lose focus and give the opponent th chance to draw level?

See, u are just grasping at straws. My point from the onset has always been that the game got out of hand and most of the plans pre-match flew out of the windows when we were complacent but what matters most was how we dealt with the situation.

Things will not always go as planned. That's why I referenced the city vs Newcastle match because city definitely were motivated to beat Newcastle to top the league but shiiit happens.

U can keep hoping arsenal will amass 114 points out of possible 114 points Sha. It's ur right as a fan

I don’t understand grasping at straws when you just summarized the point I’ve been trying to make since.

We were Complacent when we shouldn’t have.

That’s not what champions do.

One is Proactive and the other is Reactive.

Period!

See... Without being complacent, a team can still lose a two-goal lead. I don't think we were complacent yesterday though. And Leicester had their keeper to thank if not that match would have ended in a whitewash.

At the end of the day, how you respond to situation like that of yesterday is what matters. A good team must be prepared to combat uncertainties in the game.

Then u shouldn't have quoted me because whatever point u thought u were trying to make, I already addressed them in my previous posts.

If u would just calm down and read my posts without quoting me out of context to push Ur pre-conceived agenda, u would've seen where I mentioned nobody planned for what happened but our players responded in the right manner and we ended up with the maximum 3 points.

That's all that matters to me.

Firstly, no one is quoting you out of context, three people can’t disagree with you on the same thing.

Secondly, no one is pushing any agenda here, at least not me. That line can’t work with me. You do know not everyone can agree with whatever you post abi? And your opinion isn’t fact, especially in a public forum like this where we are having an open debate and counter opinions.

Finally, You request for not being quoted wether in this case or any other case (I don’t know which one of it you meant) is duly noted.

I agree with everything you said except for where you said we were not complacent, which again I will let it be, because it’s your opinion and how you see it.

Now, my mind is on that PSG match.
I expect it to be a tough test for us, I just pray the boys show up for it. And where is Ben white? Hope he will be available for selection by then.
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Lush100(m): 1:23pm On Sep 29
What we are saying is that shit happens.

There are many things that can go wrong due to human error.
The Liverpool that is too of table lost to Nottingham forest.

A ref can decide to look away when an oppnennt go.wirh studs on your player making him languid and jangly as in the case of Kovavic on Odegard.
A ref may give u a yellow card that's not worth it. And then give u another for a brawl that happens.
A ball.can deflect of a players guard.
An opponent can play a screamer from.oitside the box that your keeper won't reach.
Baba one and a thousandthings can happens both to us and Mancity.
Rodri is injured. If KDB is injured or Haaland get injured will u expect the same performance week in week out.
I
The most important things is the reaction and not panicking.
In fact Cala.played well yesterday yet he was all.over the place .

Ndidi yellow card was a bit harsh because the clearly won the ball. Imagine of it was ours.
Players can also loose form like Watkins as being of season.
Football is not mathematics.
If you expect is to win every single game we play.....u will.become a complainer oh.

The 11 players are human not robot.

Plus we have injury.
Crystal.palace scored yesterday against Everton and has a goal advantage
Mathematically Everton who has been the whipping boys we all taught will loose ended up winning.
The same Mourinho team that conceded 15 goals all season lost to relegated facing Sunderland.

Response is more important oh.

Were we complacent. Maybe.
But the ball.was a deflection.
And then a wondergoal.
If u are looking for perfection you will just be a frustrated fan.

If I die and come back this life again, I go still be Arsenal fan.

I love that we are our own best critics, I'm sure many opponents wey wan come yab us after reading the criticism from Arsenal fans on themselves will just swallow their yabbings.

Despite that we won, for about 3 pages on this thread now, we still no gree for ourselves. Imagine say we loss...

We will get there. And we no go stop till we lift all those big cups in England and Europe... And it will happen in our lifetimes.

We move.

White is fit now. He might start against PSG but personally, I would Prefer the same team that started against Leicester to start against PSG.

Someone even said something about mentality, as if fighting back to win with 2 goals after loosing a 2 goal led is mediocre. Leicester
keeper and the stat for shots can answer all that.
Ya gazie.

You literally saw my responses to Dave yesterday ; the assertions he made about my post which I believe were incorrect ; I tried to correct them with my follow up posts.

What did u do? U literally repeated almost every point he has raised against my post after I had already addressed them. Is that not you trying to force Ur own opinion as fact? But here u are saying my opinion is not fact and that I shouldn't expect everyone to agree with my opinion 🤷‍♂️. At what point in the discussion did I say my opinion was fact?

I admitted the players fumbled just like everyone else and the coaching crew but I believe what matters eventually is how we responded and were able to see off the match. How is that a bad thing? How am I wrong? Do u want everybody to be calling the players assssholes and other u printable names because we were drawn level around 70th minute? Well, I am not that kind of fan and will support my team till the final whistle before giving the players and the coaching crew tongue lashing when they deserve it.

Every match is unique.

Football is not mathematics - if A win B, and B win C then A will win C.

Nott Forrest beat Liverpool in their home. But Liverpool is currently top of the league.

No one is saying it was OK to concede two goals from 2 up, what we are saying is that the boys did well to grab the three points after going down.

ManU fans are calling for Ole Gunner Slojkar to.replace ETH.

I'm.sure the egbere Man"redo" loose mouth will take Arteta in a heart beat.

He is too beaten today to visit this thread.

Na FC twente they draw for Europa. While spurs beat them silly on their home turf.
Next time he will keep his mouth shut and not put his nose in other people butter.
I'll say let ETH continue.
