Hi all

I'm having trouble with uploading a document. It's faded out. Others have uploaded, even deleted and re-uploaded and they worked except this one. I've even logged out but nothing. It's been like this for some hours. It's less than 5mb as well. if I click on submit, it says all documents haven't been uploaded and I can't progress

I can't delete the application as I've submitted the form section.

Any solution as I've gotten the notice?

Your international passport column isn’t checked. If that’s the document you meant.
Then try out other browsers, DHA can be sensitive to some browsers.
Clear cache and try several other things.
Let’s see how it goes.

@hunee @afrikankel
Abeg this matter tie wrapper.
What would you say.
Application was denied because DHA said the hotel didn’t confirm reservation.
Applicant has dropped another application though.
But the hotel manager insisted they never contacted him.
I don’t understand this…
I think we should just discuss it so other people can learn.
I think at this juncture everyone should follow up with their banks and hotels so they are checking mails to ensure they don’t miss anything from DHA.

Are you handling applications for people or this is a feedback?
I said it here severally so it is not new, the home affairs are very tough in recent times on documentations. I posted it here two weeks ago, since I got the exclusive information.
I also advised everyone to tighten all loose ends to avoid rejections.
I said all of this, so let them re apply and do the needful.
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by hunee: 10:33am On Sep 27
hunee:

TBH, that question is hard to answer right now, cos applications has been hanging for weeks as i learnt.
Home Affairs is currently running on low capacity and scrutiny of applications has been heightened.
This is the update.
So if you have anyone or know anyone visiting SA , advice them to arrange and upload the right documents to avoid refusals.
Stamp anything stamp-able because home affairs will confirm.
The possibility of delays of adjudication is as a result of delayed feedbacks on authentication of applications from providers or third parties.

You know once you get a refusal based on falsifying documents, it is usually difficult to get that visa a second time.
So what you do in that case is attach payment receipt (invoice) and the booking reservation then let them call again to verify.

You then see the outcome. These guys even accept part payment or a token then when you arrive you pay balance.
There are trying to sell the hospitality industry too by compelling applicants to book and pay for hotels.
It's a kind of collaborative approach aimed at monitoring entrants due to records of overstay.

So, dummys aren't advised much for now, unless an update comes up.

Don't forget also that the Ministry of Home Affairs is under a new management, so expectedly you will encounter alot of these developments.
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Zoey1: 11:00am On Sep 27
You haven’t gotten the point here.
I saw this application.
Every document want genuine.
DHA said hotel didn’t confirm.
Hotel manager said DHA didn’t reach out to him.
All documents were intact.
Applicant moved on already but I was just wondering why DHA said they reached out if they didn’t.
Recently, physical application has been much faster than them.

The response shown me read and I quote

“There is no feedback regarding verification of the booking you submitted, therefore you do not qualify for visitors visa.”

This has nothing to do with genuinety of documents.

Lol , the home affairs thinks that document is invalid or falsified brother.

Stop stressing. They are just been professional in that context.
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by hunee: 11:32am On Sep 27
By the way, hotel reservations are also referred as " documents" , support. Depending on the context
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Zoey1: 11:47am On Sep 27
Did you read the part that said “the manager said no one reached out”
“And the applicant isn’t a first time “?

I read your texts, I am telling you what the home affairs thinks , which is the basis for your inquiry. The home affairs Adjudicates on visa applications not the hotel manager.
So reading the minds of the VO, they obviously think that document is invalid or false.

So fix this up and do the needful as subject refers.

1. I told you this was a feedback, so I don’t understand this “fix this up”
2. When I posted it was others to learn .
3. I stated this was to juxtapose what the manager against what DHA said not your “thinking “
4. Lastly, I already said the person moved on ahead of this. Why should I stress?

Just pass the message , no stress brother.
Pay for 3 days and attach it the new application. Let them give you a support document from for your accomodation.
It is called "proof of accommodation"
Others are also picking the messages, and learning.
So, thats fine and ok.
Do have a great day
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Zoey1: 1:29pm On Sep 27
I don’t have the time for such because your attitude already messed up the purpose of posting.
After you got denied , did it stop you getting the visa several other times?
Now acting DHA officer over another person’s application.

In verifying a hotel reservation, the visa issuing authority simply checks on the hotel website with the reservation code provided.

The manager saying he wasn't contacted, might be correct. However the booking couldn't be verified online.

Smiles. What I meant was that assuming I want to send naira to someone in nigeria and I have rand in my account in SA, is there a way to send the money directly from my account without passing through the usual way of looking for who needs rand in exchange for naira? Hope it's clear now?

Shyft is a digital platform developed by Standard Bank, South Africa, that allows users to manage and exchange foreign currency and make international payments with ease, directly from a mobile app. It’s particularly useful for individuals and businesses who need to transact globally.

The app allows users to send money globally, pay for goods and services in foreign currencies, or transfer funds to their foreign bank accounts with ease.

Payments are fast and can be tracked through the app. The app is backed by Standard Bank, ensuring that users' funds and transactions are protected.

Check them out and see if you can use the app.

1. You need a flight reservation , not paid for.
2. If you are doing physical submission, No.
DHA online Yes.
3. As much as you can afford.

Your no 2. Question.
Ensure your accommodation is done directly from the apartment or hotel and not through third parties.

Third party ( booking.com, hotel.com etc)

In other words, you have to contact the provider directly and book with them.

How do you do this.

Search for apartments or hotels online , pay to them directly.

Attach proof of payment and your booking reservation to your application.

Goodluck
