Dangote Sugar moving but NASCON keep falling. What is happening to NASCON?

I may have to selloff a major part of my NASCON shares and buy UBA or Access Bank shares for now till next year when any positive will come for NASCON.

I'm suspecting that dangote wants to buy out his stocks from public hands b4 he changes the game, ... my opinion though

You can sell if you can take it no more

Sincere observation:
It looks like you unconsciously find a way to abandon your original intent for investing in a stock when another stock picks up and becomes the darling of the market.
If you continue this way, you’ll fast realize that “jijoists” and brokers are the ones you are working for in this market. There’s a danger of you executing a system of trade whereby every time you sell a stock, it jumps and every time you buy a stock, it collapses, despite the fact that your original desire is the opposite.
Whenever you are tempted to sell a stock, try to remind yourself the reason you bought that stock. It doesn’t mean you must not sell, but do a proper convincing of yourself and the real prospects of where you are taking it to.
Not all stocks rise at the same time.
No negativity intended, just a genuine concern/ advise for a brother.

This is exactly my thoughts. I feel they have a plan for NASCON and Dangote Sugar but will likely want to buyout a lot of minority shareholders before announcing their plans.

Almost Zero news coming out for NASCON or Dangote Sugar

Quoting my last week Monday discuss and commenting further:

With the N2 dividend payout UBA is now working nicely to get the valuation it deserves, a CBN mandated capital raise price that will be closer to Zenith and GTCO offer prices.

Lol bid that will end next trading day

Hello everyone
Its good to see UBA giving us heavy loot as interim

However I just thought to share my market focus and the rationale behind it

I'm looking and buying into the listed telecom companies (MTN and airtel though more of MTN) and Nestle....
I'm buying these companies hand over fist because I have taken a cursory look at their financials

The Cashflow and operational competences of these companies are still stellar enough and not sub par,

Save for the fx situation that led to those "heavy recorded" losses
I strongly believe that on a purely operational level, there is still value at play in these companies

Now this is not financial advise
just thought to share
and would welcome thoughts as well....

We watch how the market reacts. The result is not as good as last year. Lower PAT and lower eps compared to last year.
This is a "rights issue" influenced interim dividend.

I will still take GTCO and Zenith over UBA.

Tony don chop the rest

It may and it may not. I think UBA needs to take time to build their numbers (reputation grin). Work very hard to get a CBN mandated capital raise price closer to what Zenith and GTCO just did. It made the first move towards this with a massive interim dividend. It still needs to work towards a final dividend of not less than N3 next year. These will show its results and numbers are real and not just audio.

Not a buy or sell recommendation. Just a discussion. Prices may go up or down.

No one has been paid 2023 FY FBNH dividend.
Payment date was postponed twice.
And now no specific date for payment.
Fallout of the billionaire fight in
FBNH.

Sold after the qualification date,
So hopeful I should get it when it is paid.

you mean you are yet to receive your dividends for FBNH?

Don't put your expectations too high for final dividend. I expect it not to be more than #2 which is still ok .This should place the price btw #35- #40. I feel they will come for recapitalisation after 2024 results
