When Fisayo did a perfect investigative journalism job on Customs and smuggling activities across our boarders ; the useless house of reps didn't set up any panel o. Remember wetin cause was VDM leaking a VN or recording with Seniorman Bob claiming 1. He paid money to EFCC to drop charges of Money Laundering 2. He paid money to avoid jail time despite being sentenced to prison I once went to Evans square in Ebute Metta to smoke with my cousin. My dad was born in that area and my extended family still has a presence in that area so I generally feel safe when I go to visit. Anyway you know the usual setup at the weed spot, after you sit down to blao, the local philosophers will come out with some foolish fake-deep convos in the form of "reasoning". That's how one rugged looking Isale-Eko Plato started to drop his own fake deep yarns - I was just politely nodding along to his epistle till he mentioned he was convicted of murder but was on "bail" from kirikiri. I asked him whether he was on bail pending his trial, and he reaffirmed that he had been convicted in court, but his brother had worked a deal out with the wardens to "bail" him out. Omo the whole igbo clear for my eye sharp sharp. As in immediately. I was probably now more sober thaj before i even started the blao.I tapped my cousin and disappeared from there with alacrity. But that's the reality of the situation in Nigeria, and if it took a social media spat to expose this shït to the world, then mehn I'm all for it. 1 Like |

Orji Uzor Kalu was sentenced to prison before his case was revisited. Between me and u, do u think Orji Uzor Kalu was langushing in jail wearing prison uniform like every other prisoner while his incarceration lasted? Everyone knows there are VIP arrangements in almost all the prisons. I was listening to Jimi Disu on radio list week and he was saying as far back as the 80's he knew of all kinds of arrangements including people getting paid to do jail term for influential people, convicted criminals having arrangements where they can go home and come around only when there will be major head count in prisons from the headquarters. All of these things have been happening and whether they set panel on this case or not, it will still continue because the beneficiaries of these arrangements are the elites. Bobrisky and verydarkman are two ediots having a feud ; the house of assembly should not be where they settle their beef. Bobrisky can deny whatever he claimed in the video and he will say he was just chasing clout. If House of assembly and the minister of interior are serious, let them pay an unschduled visit to various prisons and check on the VIPs that are supposed to be serving time in the respective prisons. This should put the discussions here in context. I did not write it. I copied it from a someone somewhere: "As you know, humans like to invent comfort words. One of my favorites is "luck". In security we are often challenged to reject the assumptions a system is built on so we can develop a third sight - in some cases clear enough you gain the ability to predict the future. The raw fuel of this is a vast reliance on an information torrent that to any outside party looks like addiction. I'm by no means an expert on war, conflict, or the Middle East, but what Israel has done to Hezbollah is stunning to most of the experts, and in my opinion, it's because they missed a major shift in warfare that was largely driven by Java Middleware, of all things. So many of us lived through the transformation brought about by precision GPS and ISR-based air power. This much is obvious to the crowd that writes articles in war journals. Air war is cool in a very teenage way, and drone movies have a certain visceral feel to them that academics like to write about because it says to the world that they are the kind of hard-core experts that understand the blood-and-guts reality of modern combat. You know what's not sexy? Java. But what is network centric warfare really if not endless rooms full of programmers having meetings about Java Beans and SOAP contracts. What does it look like when a real team goes after your entire society and builds surveillance into everything? It's hard to move in the modern world without a wake billowing behind you into the ether. Al Quada learned this the hard way, and now I think we can see what it looks like applied to another decentralized covert organization. In the end, it's not the drones or the missiles that make the difference—it's the quiet, relentless infrastructure underneath it all, overlooked by those too focused on the shiny surface of modern warfare. The real revolution isn’t in the explosions but in the code. The experts who missed this shift weren’t outmaneuvered by luck or brute force; they were outmatched by those who embraced the unglamorous, intricate work of building a machine that sees all and remembers everything. Israel and Russia signed a visa-free agreement 16 years ago which is still effective as at today. Both countries trade almost a billion and half dollars yearly between themselves, including vegetables. Yes, vegetables. Both Israel and Russia still maintain embassies and diplomatic rows are quickly ironed out. Israel and Russia have never been enemies. In fact, Russia helped almost 2 million Jews escape the Holocaust. Why does Israel need to bomb Russia? To impress upon you their might? You go off like these folks are enemies. They are not. Interests diverge at times but never enemies. When analysing global sociopolitics, my advice is you follow the money always. It paints a clearer picture of the true state of things. 3 Likes 1 Share |

OkpaNsukkaisBae: Obama stopped pushing for Assad's removal only after what became of Libya following Gadaffi's ousting and execution. There are no voids or vacuum in Middle East. What comes next is always more brutal. Assad remaining is a necessary evil. Better Assad than ISIS taking over. NATO knows this, Saudi knows this. Everyone knows this. It's not the ruggedness of Putin as you'd like to believe it is. |

Iran downfall might closer than I think, make God just push Ayatollah to carry out attack on Israel, this time will be different.
