Hello all!! Since February 23rd that I got AOR on my application, till today, no single update or advancement. I even created a web form to include my new born son sometime in June, no response. Please do you think this is normal. Anyone please?

So you haven’t gotten medical request yet? The pattern is most people get medical request around 5 months after the application was submitted. But there is no hard and fast rule to this thing. When did you submit ur application? Also, maybe you could check your application status tracker to see if they received the additional information you provided in the web form.

I submitted February 7th and I got AOR February 23rd. And since then, it's been total silence. Tracker is just showing eligibility in progress since March 13th.

Interesting. Reason I said there is no hard and fast rule. You got your AOR quite early unlike most people that it took about 2-3 months to get AOR. Best you can do for now is to keep sending web forms and probably email to Accra.

I need your advice on a matter that's been on my mind.
Between a diploma in youth & Childcare and early childhood education, which of these two has a high job prospect/PR in Canada or is in high demand?

I am currently in my first year in early childhood education. And i am considering switching to youth & Childcare in my second year.


My focus is one that I can get a quick full-time job and fast PR.

What do you guys think?

They’re sticking to the 10months processing time for most applications. The reason why mine took this long is because of the secondary review.

Of recent I'm not sure they are sticking to the 10 months tho. At least mine and @Lolayetty has exceeded 10 months.
