When are expecting glo on the next floor?
Companies like glo, 9mobile, spectra net should be on the ngx.

Raider76:

Maybe the stupendous wealth being made by major shareholders of recent will change the minds of some of them. I expect Glo to come to the party too since Conoil is still around. grin grin

I honestly cannot advise to buy now. If you have a long term view of the stock then sure go for it but if you’re looking to make quick money my opinion of the stock has moved to neutral/cautious

I don't have NASD account. Which is advisable; get an NASD account to purchase Aradel or wait for it to be listed on NGX?

I completely agree with you. Dr Fatona laid a very very good foundation for the company. Him and his team were more focused on building a strong and reliable company thereby sacrificing little benefits for huge future gains. This the company has continued to build on which is now resulting in a robust liquidity and profitability. They are so liquid to the extent that banks practically chase them to take loan which they declined.

I can’t wait for their listing on the bourse for me to buy tasere units.

Can’t agree more.
They practically imbibed the principles in the book titled Built To Last.
I’m buying both on NASD and when they list soon on NGX.

Please don;t give up on my Access. This is just half way, they were in a similar situation last year. But, they came out stronger in the last quarter. Just look at it as a marathon race.

But, the FBNH that is trying, why are they yet to transform the improvement to dividend. Dividend for full year 2023 is yet to be paid while all others in this category had announced interim dividend for 2024. I had longed replaced my FBNH with Fidelity Bank grin

The former CEO was alive then, while one tree does not make a forest I feel something left access with the exit of that man

Let us come down to 2006 Oando public offer was almost N100, I bought Aradel in 2016 for roughly N200.

If Oando returned me minimum of 10% per annum from 2006 to 2016 the share price ought to be over N200 after 10 years

I don't want to imagine the units and start calculating. grin there is value in investing in the right stock I guess. You have given example of bad and good.. Oando is yet to get to your buy price over 20 years later; what an irony of life. Perhaps picking bright future stock in the present is also gamble and luck.

I tend to agree. I had plans of holding the stock till NGX but if I can get #1k (20k) per share then why am I still holding on to the stock when I have more than 4x? I feel a lot of people will have the same opinion if it reaches that #1,000. It is now overvalued

You can sell 50% to 75%, but I will advise you to still hold some.

Don't underestimate where a well managed , growth and cash rich company will be in 5 years.

The right offer of United Capital was 90k in 2014, those who sold at N4.00 after enjoying capital appreciation are full of regrets.

The par value of Aradel was N10 until the recent stock split which made it 50k.

What does this mean, it shows that the original N10 invested at the startup stage of the business is now worth almost N14,000, excluding dividend earned over the years.

In fact that initial N10 will earn a dividend of about N400 in the current financial year. Meaning dividend earned is 40 times the amount invested

This Aradel matter had been on and on. It is not yet listed on NGX. Please, can someone explain to me how I can get it. I understand it is being traded on NASD. I really don't know how that works or how I can monitor it's trading. Do I need a new broker account to trade on it ? Or is it best I just hold on since it would soon be listed from what I gathered. Even if it is a few units I can buy, just want to join this bandwagon. Too many people have come to praise this stock. It won't make any sense if I don't do anything. Thanks.

Wait till they release the Q3 result.

I think they want the listing to coincide with the release of 2024 Q3 financial result

That very first line is where wealth resides.
Warren Buffet once said “Honesty is a very expensive gift, don’t expect it from cheap people”.
That Aradel leadership quality is one critical litmus test we must try to find for long term stocks, irrespective of one’s short term “gambles” with any other jijo stock.
NIDF felt similar to me when they declared an extraordinary dividend from assets sold last December, effectively paying dividends 5 times in the last financial year instead of 4 times.
knowledge like this is what I like in this forum. You pointed out ndif and I will do my findings about them.

What is that they said about a leopard changing its skin? It is even less likely now that they know they can do whatever they want.

As I have always said and maintained WALE is the only ish of Oando. If he can genuinely repent or stay away and let a good team manage Oando, that COY will do wonders but I doubt if he will do any of the above.

Just look at the recent games he is playing. May miracles happen for Oando grin

Entrepreneurship has its challenges. Nigeria needs more entrepreneurs. Wale is doing his bit excellently. He was wounded with ConocoPhillips in hindsight and he has turned around the company for shareholders (quoting his words at the last AGM)

Abeg take profit, sell the Oando and buy more Seplat or Aradel and not need to bother with Wale this and that, truth and untruth biko shocked grin grin grin

Absolutely.
You have just reminded me of when I bought Seplat N350 and after waiting a long while, I sold around N750 thinking that was the highest height it can get to.
The rest is history.
I will not make the same error with Aradel, as long as the books remain kept clean and the management keep the faithfulness.

Yes. How I wish I could share their business plan here. The reason why I am super bullish long run is because of that deal to acquire Shells assets. The amount of gas reserves is huge and gas is still majorly untapped in Nigeria. The Refinery will also start producing petrol hopefully in Q4 and LPG. They’re also about to complete acquisition for a new tank farm. Like I said, me I’ve made good money, enough where I can decide not to trade for years, I’ll be exiting shortly. But those that have a long term view it is a really great company

Take it easy, my man. @Megawealth was not too harsh or derogatory in his remarks.
We all should just look forward and hope that Oando delivers good results and rewards shareholders bountifully. When that happens, no one will preach to Megawealth before he changes his mind and loads more of Oando.

I also need recommendation for another good NGX broker, like MorganCapital. I need the one with live trading features.
