Amen bro. I'm not blaming him, God knows, because he has the kids already; all I am saying is that family planning should be enforced as a course in the University. People with college certifications shouldn't be caught having multiple children with no clear means of even raising one.

Tinubulation is real... Satan will soon visit Tinubu and his minions for the untold hardship they've caused the masses! The visit is not for drinks but for payment in the same coins they've been paying the masses!

I was once in that cycle. I just resigned my private school teaching job but that was not without having an alternative personal job I resigned into. infact I resigned into crops farming which I started since 2013 by planting cassava, cocoa and recently palm trees. So this man must think of how to retire early into his personal job. He must take his wife from salary job and possibly start a small business before taking that decision

Food, clothing, and shelter are the basic necessities a man needs to survive. Unless he can sleep with both eyes closed, he won't have the peace of mind to focus on learning or anything else—I’ve been there.

Once the burden of rent is off his shoulders, he’ll be able to think clearly; otherwise, it’s just a waste of time.

So, talk to him and gather evidence that you’re not caping, then work on sourcing funds for him. You may not get everything, but even a little will go a long way."

Good day everyone

I just want to pour out my mind about series of events that got me worried lately, I have a friend who happens to be a bachelor (I am married though) so on Sundays he will always invite me to his house to come and play game and have some drinks with our other friends too.

Maybe you and your friends have thought about this but since he's in the teaching line, he can try online tutoring websites and earn in dollars. If he's brilliant, that'll help him more. Websites like tutor.com and the likes. He may not get jobs immediately and he may also, one can never tell.

Since you and your friends want to gift him a laptop and you want to share data with him, it'll really help him a lot to achieve what I stated above. Let him open account in as many of these legit sites as a freelancer, do what needs to be done and while he's waiting for feedback or something, he can learn any course he's interested in. He should still stay in his job or maybe apply for a better physical job but when he's free, let him do all I stated above. It'll be a lot to handle but I wish him the best.

Good day everyone

I just want to pour out my mind about series of events that got me worried lately, I have a friend who happens to be a bachelor (I am married though) so on Sundays he will always invite me to his house to come and play game and have some drinks with our other friends too.

But lately I noticed something about his neighbour who happens to be a private school teacher, though I have been noticing it on a steady and I didn't know others were observing it too till something happened on Sunday and everyone voiced out.

On getting to my friends house last week Sunday, I observed that his neighbours wife and 2 children were outside, I greeted them and entered. After like 2 hours we wanted to go and watch match I realized the 4 of them are now outside with the husband, normally as per say we discuss football together so I asked if he misplaced the keys and he told me the landlord staying in d same compound locked the door cos they were oweing 5 months house rent.

I felt bad for them so me and my guys with him went to beg the landlord and the man made it clear that he has tried enough that because we came to beg he will give them the grace of 3 months to sort the bills or else he will lock it again and the only time he will open it is when they agree they are packing that very minute.

The landlord reluctantly gave us the key as witness, so we called the man in and discussed how he will make the payment, the man made it clear he's stranded, he said he collects 40k as salary and 15k for extra lesson every month and his wife collects 20k as salary but they use his wife's salary to sort the children school fees.

Many atimes I observe anytime we want to buy something from the landlady shop in front of the house, this guy comes to buy something but will always tell the woman I will sort u but since it doesn't concern me I lock up but the one of last week Sunday touched me.

I am not here to seek for funds for anyone but to implore us reading this to stretch an helping hands to private school teachers around us, those people are going through hell and they can't beg.

The man told me he stopped job hunting with the little 55k because it affect the family a lot anytime he travels for interviews

To tech savvy guys here, please which online course do u think that guy can learn that doesn't involve money because I intend to be giving him 5gig per week and we intend to get him laptop too but what online course can he be doing with ordinary android phone for now pending the time he will get a laptop?

This does not only affect the private school teachers but also private or government workers that their salaries are below 300k monthly, people that are earning less than 200k can attest to that. Sometimes we have to trek a long distance to get to work. Before Tinubu entered office it was N300 to and fro. Now we pay more than N2000 for transportation every day.. Let's forget about housing, feeding etc

Oga, we must embrace productivity and prioritize less activity that gulp too much of time but pays less. Those guys may be working hard but doing it under someone who takes too much away from them in form of profit. They should learn to do things that involves them being productive at their own spare time. Things like dress making, farming, food processing. City life is a complex project many assume is like Asaba movies. It isnt at all. You pay rent, feed, move around, communicate, cover healthcare, and still cover educationnof your kids.

Let's appreciate you for feeling so concerned including your friend that hosts you in that neighborhood allowing you to extend such generosity to a co-tenant.

First, either the husband or wife needs to quit private teaching. As lucrative as it could be, unfortunately they are on the wrong toss of the dice.

If we should suggest digital skill, or other side hustle, the question is would he be interested to pursue it?

A friend of mine was in this boat, despite all advice to start YouTube, Facebook reel reaching in maths, physics or chemistry. He's such a good teacher but he's so lazy to take up such advice. So whenever he complains he's stranded, I only stretch out what I could afford to him. I feel if this continues, I may need to face him squarely that my support needs to cease if he's not ready to upskill.

Some of these private school teachers never see other means to be lucrative outside their teaching. They seemed sold out to it.

You have one more assignment to do, relate all the comments in this thread to him to her from him.

For now, rent needs to be sorted, food needs to be provided and none of our advice can quickly fix these. He needs a financial support in the interim.

He should first of all, register his children in a government school, since he's a teacher,he should coach his children where there are lapses. He should look for families that are looking for home lesson teachers and his wife should do same.
