If at Half Year, LASACO EPS stands at N1.73, which is already about 75.22% dividend yield of its current price of N2.30

It's dividend payout at Year End should be massive.🤔

Presco's interim dividends for 2022 and 2023 were declared in the last week in October, shortly after the board meeting. It'll be nice to see how much they'll pay this year.

What will be the implications?

That is a big dilution.
Reduced EPS.
Food meant for about 1.8 people will now be shared by about 11 persons.

Insurance firms are more stingy with dividend payments and rightfully so, because of the sector in which they operate. So, your best case scenario is not practicable.

Do you mean you'd be topping up 100k every month? Or you are looking for a stock that pays 100k monthly?

It seems Agba no get a single unit of Presco. Last year we managed N2. Then they have not overtaken Okomu. Now, with improved H1 results, I am not expecting anything less than N5.

From my own understanding. The guy wants 100k monthly. That is not possible on NGX, except by luck. This can't happen monthly. Just think long term and invest, the return will come but, I am not sure about the 100k monthly. You can get 200k per annum in dividend, plus some capital appreciation.

#128: 0-8
I am going to try
8 consecutive picks with a prospect of 100% to be rolled over as below. Could last 3- 7 years or even less. It’s all about the power of compounding.

I will start at step zero of N1,000,000.

Step 0 =N1,000,000
Step 1= N2,000,000
Step 3 = N4,000,000
Step 4 = N8,000,000
Step 5 = N16,000,000
Step 6 = N32,000,000
Step 7 = N64,000,000
Step 8 = N128,000,000

Purely on Common Sense Strategy.

Let’s see how it goes. Will post my progress here.

LASACO cleared for take off based on the strategy. Buy if you can.
1.7x2 x4 = should comfortably do 100% . Target will be 4.00 for now and reappraise as we edge up.

Due diligence still necessary should incase we’ve missed something important.

Thanks to @pluto09, we overlooked a capital injection of 10bill. This recommendation is no longer valid.

In all HONESTY, the stockmarket doesn't really work like that because it's not a casino. It's not a scheme to get rich quick. You need to have the mind of an INVESTOR but to hit it big you might have to gamble some stocks that occurs from time to time like OANDO at below #5, TRANSCORP at below #1 etc. Overall always lookout for companies that will give you good yields yearly at least through dividends...

Have you factored in the new outstanding shares of over 10 billion?

Have you factored in the additional 9+billions new share in calculating your EPS?
That being said, the possibility of a rally in share price is high in the short time as many may not be aware of the additional new shares.

Thanks a lot, reason why I said long term play.

I am also into the US Stock market, most of the people in US that I know, invest a certain amount from their payslip monthly into a stock they believe in.

I stopped following the Nigerian stock market in 2010, as I noticed that majority of the stocks remained stagnated for years.

But it seems this is beginning to change now. I use to have a CSCS account back then, and I bought Dangote stocks amongst others back then, when investment was through stock brokering firms.

I lost total touch, reason why I am back.

Meanwhile I use Robinhood and Trading 212 for US stocks, while I plan to use Bamboo for naija stocks

WOW. I would have asked you what city in the US you live in but this is a sensitive environment.

I am heavily invested in US stocks too. If you are in the US market trend on nairaland, let's mingle there

Air Peace boss, Allen Onyema has confirmed that we must not view Dangote Petroleum products as synonymous with Dangote himself. He emphasized that it's about supporting our economy.

To reinforce this, Allen shared that during a recent meeting, airlines in Nigeria agreed to exclusively use Dangote Oil for their aircraft. This move is aimed at ensuring that the money spent stays within the country, boosting local economic growth.

The NGX is majorly moved by big NEWS updates. There is currently no big news today hence the market will be quiet or motionless.

There will be very little movement in the market today.
