Practically both Bibi and especially Zelensky are indirectly calling for WW111. I heard Zelensky already has a VICTORY PLAN. I can't help but imagine how he intends to drive away Russian forces in the annexed regions.

As you said, they both have the same supplier.

Ret**d unable to answer a simple question.

Why is Hezbollah, all-power and controlling all of Lebanon, unable to impose a President on Lebanon in 2 years?

PM is Sunni.
Speaker is non-Hezbollah Shia.
Commander of Armed Forces is Christian.
Former and Next President is Christian.
It has just 2 of 24 ministers.

So how does Hezbollah control Lebanon?
Answer!

This is a nice move . Let subsidy be removed on all forms of pilgrimages be it to Saudi, Israel, Jordan, Cuba or any other country.

Anybody that wants to go on a pigrimage should fund it 100% from out of pocket.

I hope state governments would follow suit as well. Any state that is still borrowing money from internal or external lenders has no business subsidizing pilgrimage for its citizens. Any state that continues to subsidize pilgrimage should be sued by concerned citizens. angry

Why is NNPC changing price overnight?

What is the reason for this increase again?

This is actually a harbinger of doom in my opinion. The only reason these subsidies exist in the first place is to go someway towards pacifying the masses.

If the government was broken but you were at least seeing cheap petrol, cheap school fees and subsidised Hajj, at least you go dey hold your side.

When the government is broken and you're seeing nothing....

We dey experience something similar for this side, and since the beginning of the year I've been seriously exploring opportunities to leave the UK for good. It's Japa time grin

They obviously don't want to subsidize Dangote's PMS like they have been subsidizing imported PMS(The same subsidy Tinubu allegedly removed on May 29 2023). I heard on a radio program earlier this morning that NNPC was subsidizing Dangote PMS with over N3bn daily.

It appears they want to hands off doing that and obviously it will lead to further hardship on the general public.

When they changed to 858 last month, it was without subsidy naa.

The issue is most people going for pilgrimage are not broke in any way. At least the people in my family who have been to Hajj are either sponsored by a wealthy relative or those who are living comfortably well. They are people whom Yorubas will say "won ni ajeseku". Dem don chop and e still remain for ground.

So the subsidy is not really going to the masses like that. Cheap education and cheap petrol are actually things that will pacify the masses jare.

As regards leaving the UK, most of the people I know whom relocated to the UK are not finding things easy.

Is it brexit that 4cked the UK up or there's something else ? A friend of mine had to run commot UK to Ireland, he claimed things are a little bit better over there even tho the Euro is not as powerful as the Sterling.

Hezbollah members amputated by the pager attack, crying to their imaginary God in Iran.

To me this feels better than death, cause not only are most of them useless, they're going to watch Israel become victorious, with only their ears.
This is very disturbing.

this is the fking legacy of authoritarian military regimes. and it is with us to this day where people think the government can generate money on command. which incidentally is what buhari did when he ordered cbn to print money

There's no religion that makes pilgrimage a requirement for salvation na. Even Islam requires u to go for Hajj only of u can afford the trip.

No, it was still with subsidy.

They saw that the last increase didn't generate any uproar. People have adjusted and moved on. So why not just remove the entire thing. They will make noise for a day on social media, adjust an move on.

in 1993 i think i went to saudi during a hajj period. the flight was full of nigerian villagers. in the end the hostess came and took the middle class families to first class . it would have been a terrible 8 hours

What it comes down to is this:

Gaza is run by an organisation so committed to the destruction of Israel that it wrote it into is constitution

Lebanon is ruled by a similar organisation except that this one doesn't just hate Israel, it was established and is funded by Israel's top opp and who is using them to extend their reach to Israel's literal land boundaries.

Your definition of terrorism is most likely contingent on whether you believe Israel has both the right to exist and the right to self-defence.

If you believe Israel has both the right to exist and to defend itself as a nation, then what should it do about Hamas and Hezbollah, both of which who share land borders with Israel?

.....I have no issues with IDF killing Hamas/Hezbollah or Vice Versa bruh, my issue is, they all must leave Civilians out of it.

The more u look, the less u see.

There was subsidy involved, that why NNPC and Dangote were both issuing useless press statements without stating the actual cost price of Dangote's PMS from source.

islam counts your sins against your good deeds. in the end it is the tally of your sins against your good deeds that determines if you enter hell or al jannah. if you do a pilgrimage and it is accepted, your slate is wiped clean. so from a purely religious standpoint, it is subsidized salvation

I know bro, that's why I said no reasonable state goverment should be subsidizing Hajj/Sponsoring Hajj at this point. States like Gombe, Bauchi, Kebbi, etc have no business sponsoring anybody to Hajj because like majority of the states in Nigeria they are struggling economically and borrowing to run government affairs. They should shed the weight of sponsoring Hajj

there have been articles in the news to the effect that
1) pms is again fully deregulated
2) nnpc will no longer be an offtaker for dangote
3) everyone can buy directly from dangote going forward

Then people should put more efforts into doing good now that government can't afford to subsidize Hajj anymore. Salvation na personal journey
