One major reason I hate indrive.
We all have our preferences, it was because the waiting time elapses before I could cancel based on false order.

I checked bolt before going on indrive as i read say bolt rate dan increase, the first two orders that came in were 3km and 2kms away. To grab a 2700 ride.
Dem dey craze.

Today, I decided to drive after a long hiatus due to traveling and some other reason...My driver has been whistling about the dwindling revenue and he's asking for a slash..I told him he will get a response when am back to Lagos. The idea is to experienced whatever he claim to be the issue then we find a middle ground..Quite funny that yesterday is the first time am buying fuel at 890 or so, the fuel in my car up to yesterday morning was still gotten for 600....I don go, I don come back ....make I rest small..I'll share my experience..

We are waiting...
It's really not fair out there for drivers

I guess they are using words censorship for you to be blocked immediately. And maybe their app takes notes of when you switch to rider's profile and driver's profile intermittently.

I guess so too!

I'm pained.
Indrive have robbed me as I just swore for a rider

I was jejely in the office while I decided to go on break and saw a 5500 trip to bariga from ikeja, I knew I would get another ride back from there to ikeja

This guy ordered for his babe, from kafi strt to bariga not knowing it was supposed to be from bariga to kafi street, na so I pick.
On confirmation that the destination and pick up location were intertwined. I canceled the trip. Indrive didn't plan to refund me the service commission deducted. I was pained.

Na network glitch
Much respect grin

Never call the Rider on Indrive . U can chat or ask them to drop their contact in the chat.

Always cancel with "Rider didn't show up" if u have arrived and it's past 5min of waiting.
Or "I refuse to carry out order" within minutes of accepting the trip.

I decided to hit the road around 6am only on INDRIVE and this are my trips;
Alapere to Oniru..7,500
Oniru to Isaac Jones...7,700
Isaac Jones to Chevron ....11,100( rider round it up to 11,500), according to her, you people no longer switch on AC and she was surprised I did without even asking.
Agungi to Gbagada hospital---12k ( took me about 17 mins to get to the rider, ordinarily I won't pick this ride but I needed to go home and that ride is very close to home.
Gbagada hospital to Alapere----4k (I was supposed to go home straight but I saw a very long queue at NNPC Alapere, switched to radio and I heard fuel increase, I knew I had to go back and Hussle for fuel, then I got my last trip.
Alapere to OGUDU/Gbagada---2,900. (branch to NNPC, got fuel for 998.
I did 6am to 12:30
Gross = 45,600.
Fuel = 15k (my fuel indicator was already on when I bought this fuel at MRS yesterday..I think I got 16.7 litres...
When I gross 45,600, my fuel was low but indicator wasn't ON, I think I could have added maybe 5k more but I was tired and that could mean going far away from home again ...
MY OPINiON:
INDRIVE did not absorb the effect of this fuel increase, I think they just pass everything to driver and rider ..
Target only Longggg trip, the era of short trip is a waste of fuel. This fuel is too expensive for the stress, time wasting and insult that usually accompany short trip.
Pick up must not be unnecessary long..I won't do anything more that 5 to 7 mins unless it's super juicy.
Find a way to dey run the App street in one way or the other, half of my trip today (in value) was done offline..Don't ask me how abeg..
This Hussle is super stressful walahi, tho I notice the roads seems to be better and free than what it was few month back...Fewer vehicles on d road..
If I had to returned the qty of fuel I used back into the car, I will buy just maybe 12/13k..but I bought 19k, App will get like 2,500...I still have 24k.
My driver/partner won't get a slash...Any serious person with a functional Corolla should be able to deliver 45k...That is what I'll tell him tonight...But I might find time maybe next week to do it again on this new fuel price (998), then see if I'll re-adjust my verdict.

Truth is anything less than 50k/week is not enticing again for car owners putting up their car for rentals.
For an investment of 5m, 200k a month earning is just barely enough.

If u are lucky to have only a couple of minor repairs in a month plus your monthly routine servicing, then u will spend at least 50k a month.

If u do anything around 30-35k. Anytime u have any of battery, suspension, hub, tyre, AC, electrical, engine, gear, body parts or painting job then ur monthly earnings can be wiped out.

Even lazy drivers can make 50k in two days and keep four days earnings for themselves, and still rest 1day.
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by dapotemi: 4:57pm On Oct 09
A friend on my street who is fully on ehailing said I would have made MORE if it's on Bolt and that the 11,100 trip from Isaac Jones to Chevron is a very very bad trip, too cheap according to him. I felt it too during the trip.
Well, I was experimenting, so I needed to work with the worst case scenario.
What are the available options for drivers? CNG? That thing scares the hell out of me! The thing be like bomb for my eyes. Like everything in Nig, soon we might start having fake kit in the market.. It's a time bomb honestly, and it seems this FG led tax collector is hell bent on continuing this fuel increment.

I hear the Total at old aba road now sells CNG. If you happen to be around that place abeg help confirm.

Though I'm starting to have doubts about converting to CNG with the reports I'm hearing. Someone said several people reported to have had engine issues on a radio station after conversion.

On indrive, once you click "start trip", indrive already taken their commission, whether you go or not. I'm sure you're aware of this.
I feel that was the case of that brother.

Na Tinubu the devil dey use deal with Nigeria as a whole.
This is not even the case of e-hailing alone; diesel price go jump up, gas go jump up, kerosene go jump up... Food stuff, drinks, auto parts, oil, everything go follow jump up as fuel price don increase. Public (danfo/bike/keke) transportation go increase in price.
Na only e-hailing una dey look at, what about the general effects the fuel price go have on all other parts?
Heheheheheee. We go hear am. grin

Much respect, bosses.

I've watched the interview. What I can gather is, if your engine has issues, CNG will magnify the issue. So those with engines on their last days will do well to avoid conversion.

However, if the engine is in pristine state, users have reported no issues so far.

Lolz... Why will u click "Start Trip" when u haven't started the trip?. I don't even click "I am here" until Rider has entered d car and I want to start the trip.

The reason his money will not be returned is because of what he clicked when cancelling the trip.

More like it because i heard most conversation centers check the compression of your engine before converting your car. I dey go the total tomorrow to confirm because e be like say cng na dey only now.

This only means one thing.
If a pristine engine was bound to last for 5 more years on PMS, it means it's life has been reduced by half if u install CNG, all things being equal.

I drive passively... sometimes 2-3 trips in the evening, my average target is 450naira per km on indrive, sometimes I exceed it, Got a trip of 12km which took me less than 40mins for 13k around 1am earlier today. I only drive when I see extremely good trips in areas i could easily find a trip to get back. I often see people doing fastest fingers on ridiculously long trips and i wonder if they buy fuel in an alternate universe, This Tpain economy dey make people appreciate the term 'shege banza' 😂

I got fuel for 998 today at NNPC and I just saw Mobil selling for 996...ah, is there a reason for this? Since I was born, NNPC price is always the cheapest abi there is something new in this whole process
