Make una no vex o......but can you guys just take these Naira/PMS discussions to the appropriate thread on NL before the politics guys invade here.

Let's stick to the purpose of this thread pls.
The discussion is becoming unending. Haba!!

Looking at Nigeria banks (especially ETI) I could deduce exchange rate used for 2024Q1 was about N1303 and for Q2 was about N1488.

Discussion on the direction of the Naira is useful here for fundamental thinking. Some of the pro and cons arguments were worth reading!.

Looking at this this news https://nairametrics.com/2024/10/10/naira-closes-at-n1625-13-in-ie-window-amid-market-turnover-decline/ and the way the naira is currently exchanged +1600, 2024Q3 may record further shareholder asset valuation gains for banks with net dollar assets and drags for those with net dollar liabilities. Wish the exchange rate stays within that of 2024Q2 of less that 1500

- Ordinarily, Lasaco is not a N2 stock, think say ive said this more than once here before.
- The person talking about dilution......which dilution?
Private placement was carried out, not the common "bring your Kobo Kobo" for Right Issue......maybe it's only 2 or 3 investors that supplied the N9bn+ self.
- Also, the fund was not supposed to be there for window dressing, it's meant for business, diversification and investment.
- Hopefully, the management will make a judicious use of the fund to add value to the company and the shareholders.

I have been waiting to read your Analysis on Lasaco. Now that I have, all is well now.

**Caveat: Not any form of advice**

Please make me understand why the N9 billion will not dilute the existing OS prior to the private placement.
Was it a loan facility or equity financing?
Maybe I’m missing something.

why was the private placement at such discount of #1.20 when you compare it to other recent private placement/Ri or new buy out.

Based on margin of safety. Is it wise buying now above the price of new owners of the business

Why has this trend become constant with naija banks. For many yrs now once we enter ember months all nigeria bank networks begin to malfunction mostly on transactions across to other banks. This has been steady occurrence since 2020 or even below

What is even propelling Lasaco? After all they did not recommend anything for their 'shellholders'.

If you want to buy any stock,do your own due diligence.
There is no need to argue with some people on matter of facts.
The 9b+ share through pp will be added to the existing shares which might not happen immediately and will be listed accordingly.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by BabsO2(m): 11:21am
Ellahlakes reversed yesterday's drop. Moved from N4.40 of yesterday to N4.70-4.75 in the market right now. Was watching for a 4.00 entry today grin.

Pulled back towards N4.40-4.50 by 11:25 hrs
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by designking: 11:23am
Oando is heading to ₦50 which is a good entry price.

Sorry OakPearl
I thought it was Oga Pluto09 that asked me . 😁
We argued on Mansard when it was selling below N2, today, we all know where MANSARD is......so I don't want to go into any argument on Lasaco again. 😊
...but I won't want to discuss on LASACO now.......I've said the little I know about it in the past...
If there be any more info, I may again share.

Looks like a N70 support has formed. Currently trading at N69 and resisting any sharp drop. Perhaps bounce up coming. wink.

Oando is heading to ₦50 which is a good entry price.

If Oando likes, let it drop to N20 or even lower! It would only enable someone like me to load more units!
You would not see Oando to buy at N100 after release of 2024 full year results

Please Note:
This is no marketing for Oando
This is no monkey hunting for Oando
This is no due diligence for Oando.

This is only meant for those who are in Oando or interested in buying.
You can dump your units or ignore Oando completely if you are not convinced or comfortable with its prospects, potentials etc. and enjoy your peace of mind.
