Trust our people and swinging pendulum mentality. If Okoye gets featured and something goes wrong, same people will blame Eguavoen for starting Okoye ahead of Nwabali.

since some people dont want us to rest on this issue of Maduka Okoye taking over the no1 spot, i hope AE can use him in the return leg next week, thats if hopefully we can trounce Libya tomorrow

Even if we trounce Libya 11-0 in Uyo and Libya presents their second team for the return leg, Nwabali will still be favourite to start. When you have at least a good goalie like Nwabali, especially after the previous ones like Uzoho and Okoye disappointed, it is important you keep playing him to boost his confidence level and also to improve the Chemistry between him and the defence. Remember we are building towards the 2025 AFCON and 2026 WC.

In club and national team football the goalie is almost never changed except in cases of the number 1 losing form or getting injured.

Okoye is a young man who's improving steadily I'm almost certain his time will come so long he remains on the right track.

Nwabali has been forged in the fiery oven of the AFCON and been found to be stable and worthy. Let the guy continue his good work instead of all this unnecessary distractions.

I watched Maduka keenly last season and it all started against Cagliari in Copa cup,he was massively impressive and that match was the turning point that made him Udinese number one but fast forward I watched three of his matches this season ,especially against Inter Milanā€¦..in all honesty he has improved but to be sincere he is not better than Nwabali I saw in Afcon

Our goal keeping crisis lately.
We took a shaky Daniel Akpeyi to AFCON 2019- He lined up his wall, for a last minute Riyad Mahrez free kick. You were quite sure were Mahrez was gonna hit the ball at. He failed.

Took Okoye against corona virus ridden Tunisian side he failed.

Back again to Uzoho who was in goal at the 2018 World cup under Rohr for our penultimate match against Ghana. He too failed.

Of the aforementioned, they've all had time to adapt and adjust but they just could not.

Then comes Nwabali, straight away into AFCON and we will end up playing at the finals

Nwabali has helped give us a balance ,it is only fair that Okoye should keep on fighting for this position, as there is room for competition.

Anyone pushing to see Maduka Okoye start vs Libya in either legs doesn't seem to like the words, Balance and stability. Anyway, Fans of Rangers of Enugu, read.

Courtesy of @MikeThePundit...

ā€Iā€™ll like to play for Rangers Intlā€ - Maduka Okoye

The Udinese goalkeeper told Football TempleX that if he is to play in the NPFL, the 8 times champion will be his preferred choice because ā€œitā€™s his fatherā€™s clubā€

Our foolishness must stop please it must stop āœ‹

Both okoye and nwabilion is not as good as ter stagen who never started any game unless neur was hurt

Thereā€™s a reason thereā€™s a first choice and backup Okoye is a back up and should remain there

Nwabilion has proven time and time again that heā€™s mr reliable he can play with both feet and he was instrumental against South Africa šŸ‡æšŸ‡¦ if timely interception of those long balls saved our a$$

Nwabilion hasnā€™t put in a wronged foot since heā€™s been our number one shot stopper.

So why rest him for an inconsistent goalkeeper who shrinks when the lights shine brightest

Because itā€™s unbecoming of us here it seems we hate success and stability

We got a good keeper now we want to swap him with an average joe

Help me make that make sense

I wish nwabilion wasnā€™t in super eagles so that the okoye bandwagon will have him

i will pick Nwabali ahead of Maduka but we all shouldnā€™t be carried away by the number of clean sheets Nwabali had in the afcon/since his debut for the super eagles because the team had the best Defensive unit at the last afcon

Nwabali didnā€™t face much danger in goal expect the PK shoutout against SA and the finals against CIV which the team lost due to Fatigue

I love Nwabaliā€™s composure but I still believe he is yet to be tested in the colors of the national team

against Angola he made a good save which was the only clear cut chance the South Africans had

Against SA he shone in the pk shoot out which I mentioned in my previous post

Iā€™m not saying he is good or doesnā€™t deserve his place as the starting keeper but all Iā€™m saying is that I would want to see him against more potent and deadly attackers

I never said that Maduka is better than him ooooo

Why did the person leave out Onyedika, Iwobi and Bashiru? Either way, I don't expect such creative set up from Eguavoen and it will require tactical depth to set it up properly.

Against Angola nwabali make two great saves I can remember
One from a corner kick that I thought was going in and a last minute shot from Luvumbo

Against South Africa Nwabali made a great save to deny mokgopa in the second half and went on to save two penalties in the penalty shootout

Even in the finals against Ivory Coast Nwabali keept out a long range shot from Fofana
That was part of one of the saves of the tournament

Our games against Benin and Rwanda Nwabali still made 1 or 2 good saves

And somebody will still come here and say he hasn't been tested
Like I said enter pitch go test am

Honestly! Trying to fix what is not broken. Nwabali hasn't done anything seriously woeful for me to start calling for his removal as number 1.

Okoye is getting better no doubt but this PR campaign by his fanboys is really puzzling at worst and irritating at best.

Alright , egbon. But if heā€™s not starting in forest due to a terrible injury, why is he getting call ups? Thatā€™s my point..

But like you said, Eguavoen should answer that. šŸ˜Š
