But why is it only Lagos that's progressing and moving forward while the other states are moving backwards? That only place that's trying to keep pace with Lagos is Abuja and that's only because of the presence of Wike. Every other state is just moving backward 23 Likes 1 Share |

TechCapon:Try to understand how Nigeria operates, Lagos progresses because they are ripping off other regions by been only place that have working international airport and Seaports, other regions are blocked politically by having that , also favoured by being former capital of Nigeria. Abuja on the other hand is the capital of Nigeria been developed by oil money the same way Lagos was developed as capital of Nigeria for more than 30 years with oil money, no other state have that privileges in Nigeria. 3 Likes 1 Share |

A few years from now Lagos will need to start issuing visas to Nigerians from other states cos the rural-urban migration will be too much. Yes, all other states are practically rural areas in comparison. 13 Likes 1 Share |

TechCapon: Because no state has the type of income Lagos gets. And if a state were to try to get that kind of income, there would be complaints of overtaxation Also Lagos does need a metro. Apart from Lagos very few Nigerian cities are large enough to merit a metro system. 5 Likes |
