Someday they will tell this low budget banger boy the truth.

Dude has consistently failed to live up to even half of Osimhen's standards. He's been extremely woeful.. At this stage, Eguovoen should be giving the likes of Dessers, and maja chance since boniface hasn't shown us what he can do on the NT.
what truth?? shocked

Reason why folks were blaming him for his antics in Rwanda I was just laughing as if I knew those antics will come handy today.

Fisayo is a better ball striker but he is no creator like Iwobi. Fisayo can pass and progress plays with quick passes and use his body in duels but he doesn't have as broad a vision of the field like Iwobi does.

Iwobi remains the main man in our creative midfield unit. Fisayo's biggest plus is his ball striking.

We need another creative head in the team.

spot on, u hv said it all 💯

Iheanacho should be the exception he's a forward.

im talking about point men strikers
like
Osimhen
Boniface
Awoniyi
Dessers
Sadiq
Onuachu
that very match iheanacho replaced Teller, while Sadiq replaced Terem Moffi(main strikers)

At 27, Iwobi already has 81 caps for Nigeria. From the look of things, he can still give us another 6 solid years.

😂😂

Did Libya have any shot on target?
0 shots, I can't even remember them shooting to kill the birds in the air, at least that one should have counted as a shot off target. Nwabali might as well have brought a mattress to sleep.

This Lineman must be suspended. NFF must take it up coz that was pure robbery. Look at his position yet he raised the flag for offside?!

Former Super Eagles defender Sam Elijah has voiced his concerns regarding the potential of 22-year-old Benjamin Tanimu ahead of Nigeria's upcoming 2025 AFCON qualifier against Libya.

Tanimu is among the players selected for the crucial clash against the Mediterranean Knights, but he faces stiff competition from six other defenders included in the 23-man squad announced by interim manager Austin Eguavoen.

In an interview with allnigeriasoccer.com, Elijah expressed doubts about Tanimu's readiness and abilities, emphasizing that the young defender needs to demonstrate consistency and strong performances at the club level.

"For me, I am still having second thoughts about him. I am not too sure about him," Elijah stated.

"I think he needs to do more in playing matches for his club. We need to see him at the top of his game."

Elijah further articulated that being invited to the Super Eagles should not be seen as a privilege but rather a deserved recognition based on merit.

"It is not just about bringing people because of connection. No, he has to be a good player in his team, playing consistently and with confidence," he remarked.

Currently, Nigeria tops Group D with four points following a commanding 3-0 victory over Benin and a goalless draw against Rwanda in Kigali.

Tanimu recently joined League One club Crawley Town on a two-year contract from Tanzanian club Singida Black Stars.

However, since his move in September, he has yet to make an appearance for the Red Devils, raising further concerns about his potential as the Super Eagles prepare for their important qualifier against Libya.

With crucial games ahead, Tanimu will need to prove himself to secure a spot in the national team, especially as Nigeria aims to maintain its strong performance in the AFCON qualifiers.

How do some people feel after you try to make one moomoo post and later got flawed, shamed and defeated by the outcome of things?

example 1: at 70mins 0-0 “we need a foreign coach”and then boom! we score a goal from the coach masterclass substitutions and topnotch reading of the game
example 2: Moses simon should not be starting, he is not good enough, then boom! he makes a world class assist.
How una take dey feel when situation shuts una up?
shey shame no dey always catch una?
cos as for me, shame no go let me post again for the next 7eke market days, cos i will just see my piece of contribution as wack and not necessary cos it’s pointless and baseless

Bruno made 3 accurate crosses out of 10 crosses. That's 30% crossing accuracy. If it were Zaidu, I know what you all will say.
You can praise Bruno without badmouthing Zaidu who was a pillar in that Afcon campaign on the left flank especially from a defensive standpoint.

Miles better is a stretch. Zaidu was good at the Afcon. A backbone in that defensive 343 formation employed by Peseiro. Bruno has grown into the team and is performing so well now.

Don't use Bruno's current performances to talk down on an injured Zaidu who has proven himself with Porto and in the UCL.

Before you all go to bed, don't forget a CAF official in broad daylight ruled off this Lookman's goal as "offside"...same way his legit goal against Rwanda was denied, Lookman was also denied a blatant PK in the first half of this match.

https://x.com/drpenking/status/1844803819277824412

I won't be surprised if CAF do a James Bond against Ademola and deny him his APOY award, the agenda is actually becoming irritating and well meaning Nigerians should start hash-tagging FIFA en masse...if only NFF weren't so useless, they should be filing petitions against this dodgy officiating.

forgiveness:

That is a tactical set up. Don't try to take that away from the coach. That was not the first time the ball was cut back.

How come we did not see it all game until Fisayo pulled it off? Sorry, I will take that from the coach. That was player intuition.

92% of our players would miss that goal Fisayo Dele-bashiru scored. If that ball had met another player,we would probably have seen the ball ballooned high above the stadium.

With this win, the Super Eagles have lost just one of their last 20 AFCON Qualifiers match, and that was against Guinea-Bissau in Uyo last year.

Nice stat 😁

Eguavoen should find a way of scoring goals and winning matches without Osimhen because crossing aimlessly won't cut, the Libyans were comfortable with us going to the wings and crossing because most times they are overhit and the few ones that land in the 6 yard box Boniface was not much of an aerial threat to trouble the Libyans

At Tripoli we will encounter the same situation that's when we'll know if Eguavoen is tactical enough to tweak his system and get the best out of Boniface
