ChrisKels:Between now and next world cup, all he need is at least 8goals more to enter top SE goalscorers. I guess he's the one most impacted otherwise from Rohr departure. I need his goalscoring back. Dunno why the drought. Unless he's restraining himself. |

I just went tmto YouTube and I noticed similarities in both Raphael Onyedika's and Dele Bashiru's goals. Onyedika waived and called Chukwueze and while Dele did exactly calling Moses Simon for the ball. Before the scored. These are real midfielders and ballers. Thank you 1 Like |

Emmy450:brings the vibes to the attack? If you notice the game change when chucks comes in because the opponent defense started shaking because of the treat chucks brings to the game. That's why Simon even have some space to ball a little if not nothing 4 come out bro |

minfelix: We scoring in the close of 80 mins by sub player doesn't obliterate the fact that the super eagles need a sound tactician Look through the team whenever oshimen is not playing the super eagles struggles Imagine a match with no oshimen and lookman the team will struggle more We are looking at the need for AE to change tactics instead of bringing in crosses into the opponent 18 yard box in situations where they parked the Box why not encourage your players to shot from outside the 18yard box. The fact that we won this match doesn't remove the fact that the scoreline wasn't impressive and we should have done better So those advocating for a sound foreign tactician haven't done anything wrong |

humility33:bros i can mention loads of game so many tacticians has handled in which their opponents played like Libya and with all his tactical acumen he still ended up winning 1-0 in dying minutes the game we witnessed today would also be the same result any world class tactician will face if handling super eaglesā¦.oga all the libyan players literally camped in their half till that goal brought them outā¦even with their 10man mass immobile defense, we still split opened their defense and lost so many chances 1. chukwueze facing the keeper but fluffing his chance 2. Lookman disallowd goal and so many other darting runs into their box-18. You cant win all matches with 4-0 scoreline, most especially against a team that remained immobile at the defenseā¦.Benin tried to come out at us in the previous game and collected 3-0. games like this you should be giving kudos to the coach for finding a way to unlock their defense and finding back of the net we have seen world class teams dominate from beginning to the end but end up drawing or winning with a slim marging In 2014 world cup between Argentina and Iranā¦the Iranians literally locked up everywhere and built a castle at their defense, but it took the world class tweaking of their tactical and brilliance of Leo Messi to score a dye min 1-0 win. THE SUPER EAGLES DID NOT STRUGGLE WITHOUT OSIMHEN, even lookman at some large portion was lost in the gameā¦if osimhen were to be in this game, highest he will bring his ginger and fearful presence, but oga, na 1-0 we go still win if we will winā¦we did not struggle we dominated from start to finish 1 Like |

humility33: where is even the space to try outside shot, those guys constructed the bridge of their defense metres away from their box18ā¦the best thing is to keep using speed wingers to penetrate from left and right angles of attack(which simon did and we scored) and also trying to give some defense splitting pass(which chuks gave to lookman which he scored but was disallowed) at some point onyeka frank was realeasing hot shot for outsideā¦bros its better you believe it that there is nothing any world class tactician will do that eguavoen did not do. e b like say una no no say na defensive game Morocco use enter semifinals of WC, and same haram football chelsea use lift UCLā¦.bros wether osimhen or not this game would have still ended in a draw or gracefully 1-0 just as we didā¦osimhen will only do his usual ginger but no way is he breaking easily into a defense that the whole 11 players is camped in and couple with crazy time wasting |

ChrisKels: Love that for him. We need African players to reach Thuram-esque and Ronaldo-esque longevity in international football. This was also the man who scored the strike against Zambia that sent us to Russia in 2018. History will look upon him kindly. |

It was clear Eguavoen did not expect a low defensive block from the Libyans. The 4231 setup left Boniface somewhat isolated and suspended among the sea of defenders, there were no space for him to do anything. The setup also saw our wingers playing very close to the touchline isolating Boniface, early at the first half. Off the ball our wingers played very close to the midfield, and weren't pressing the Libyans. The setup also saw our wingers not attempting shots at goal because they played deeper. While it is true that Eguavoen did not expect the Libyans to go ultra defensive. What happened to tweaking your tactics to commit more forwards closer to the 18 yard box. Eguavoen is yet to impress me with his tactics. I pray that someday he will. |

minfelix: Watch the goal Iheanacho scored for Manchester City against Southampton at 1:00 of the video. Look also at Kelechi Nwakali's goal against Atletico Madrid. We need to work on shooting from outside the 18 yard box because more teams will play with low blocks against us. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0PD7v-iE_Ok https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKgNVENNqC0 When our tactics is not breaking down the opposition, we need to switch our tactics to shoot from range, which will also make the low block of the opposition to break. 1 Like 1 Share |

minfelix: My absolute favorite from the great Yaya Toure. Although his class is on another level but it gives a clear idea on how to deal with low blocks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49tHWw_lero 1 Like 1 Share |

Hanibal: Every time we talk of VAR. Has NFF ever protested to CAF? Has any of such official been queried? If Algerian didn't complain when we fielded an ineligible player, they would have ended that world cup qualifier that year with no win. NFF should learn how to protest. That will put other officials on their toes. |

Victor Boniface didn't win any of his ground duels today. He lost all 6 of them. He needs to use his physicality more in the GWG. He has the body mass and stature but somehow he hasn't mastered the art of using his body size to his physical advantage. Learning this is key to Boniface finally unlocking the Real Beast that still resides within and longs to be unleashed. 2 Likes 1 Share |
