Few hours after your biometrics it should be approved and sent to you. Which you inturn will download.
If they haven’t send a mail.
Eventually sorted after a repayment, thanks.

These guys are asking for medic insurance, only accepting SA based providers, not axa mansard or anyone. Please any info on health insurance providers that you’d recommend? And the link to pay for a working visa? They mention Momentum, CompoundCare. They are asking for SA ID and even phone number.

<[b]please anyone with info on this should also respond

contact momentum or compcare. They are the two well known medical aid providers for international students. Go through both websites and contact them.

Thanks for this feedback, but the medic aid insurance should be for working visa. Will these provide or a broker? Attempted signing up to pay but were asking for ID of SA. So I’m left thinking that a broker would be it. Kindly share further thoughts

Got a notification from DHA today

Evisa got rejected. Reasonn being that I submitted fraudulent bank statement

I submitted my personal savings (24/6 to 24/9) and business account (1/6 to 23/9) as well as their reference letters scanned, stamped and signed.

My personal savings have been maintained for years with nothing more than 40% debit of monthly salary. I've used it to get other visas. Added business as an incentive
I've had that personal for 15 years and built it for 18 months. Business account goes up and down but been at 8 figures consistently.

Now I'm lost on if I should appeal (heard it takes some time) or I should proceed to VFS?

Advice needed

I got my South African visa
But I’m looking at flights and it’s expensive

Please, if I don’t use my visa, will I still be able to get one again in future?

I’m seriously thinking of canceling my travel plans

Economy is hard and things don cost
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Zoey1: 8:37pm On Oct 11
My advice!
Appeal.
Even if you are in a rush and want to use VFS.
Address this injustice.
You might be told it won’t work… it does.
People are using that option as long as you know that your documents were actually genuine.

Hello,
I understand how you feel about this entire event.
Please note, visa rejections for E-visas can not be appealed.
I said "E-visas" and refunds are very much impossible to recall.
If you wish to re apply , please do so by drafting an appeal letter explaining your situation in one page , re attaching other documents in the supportive documents section and submit.
However, if you wish to proceed directly to apply at the VFS center in Lagos and Abuja, Please be aware that you have to book an appointment on the website: https://www.vfsglobal.com/ , arrange your documents and visit on your appointed date.

If you are still in doubts on the information as regards appeals for evisas, please seek clarification by mailing : hacc@dha.gov.za

That’s incorrect.
Any visa rejection can be appealed.
And people have been doing it.
I won’t say more.
Thank you

The letter sent with some rejected applications advised them to appeal.
The person that replied you wasn’t the one that typed everybody’s letter.
Just as visas have different durations and rules that come with it.
To each its own.
Factly, this isn’t an appeal, he is correcting an error of judgement .
@Decale go ahead and write your letter to them.
Remonstration and Appeal aren’t same thing.
He never used a fake document.

Hi, Goodmorning.

Corresponding to your feedback, Above screenshot is a note from the home affairs as regards a similar case of an applicant to substantiate my point.

The bone of contention now is, he has to appeal alongside a fresh application as the subject refers .

An Appeal "alone" will not be acknowledged for e visas for South Africa.

That is the rule of Home Affairs and it is binding on all of us. If he gives it a try, it has to go through the email attached but technically, the re - application for a redress, appeal, review , remonstration or whatsoever must come with a "new application" as stated above (The E visa platform does not have provisions for appeals , review , what/not) Please read it above again carefully and interpret .

That is the point of order and it has to be obeyed to save time.

Lastly, do not also forget that some visa decisions are made in error , while some could be as a result of delayed feedback from merchant or third parties.

It is vital to note that, whilst you can not over rule these kind of things from happening, considering them to be humans, you can always seek a redress in subsequent applications.

Like i always say, it is not a do or die affair.

I attached another note of rejection to substantiate another possible reason for disapproval- Late feedback from third parties as regards verification.

Have a great day.

Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Zoey1: 1:28pm On Oct 12
If you agree that this outcome could be made in error then let him challenge it.
It’s his or her right.
Why was the person not dutiful enough to do their jobs right?
For a long time you kept telling people here that extending an e.visa wasn’t possible but you did and it worked and you mentioned it here.
What if you didn’t ask or try it out.
I don’t have to show you but I have sources from adjudicators who agrees that one should appeal and yes people have been doing it.
HACC aren’t adjudicators, their job is different.
So , I repeat it’s his right. Let him do it.

My points were quite precise, clear and straight forward. If you have clarity issues, then , I can not do anything about that.

When UK VO's reject people's visas, why don't they carry placard to protest at their submission center or their embassy.

Situations of this nature requires patience and properly handling. Not gragra and agitations.

I already said it can be redressed in his subsequent application.

Simple.

Why the aggressive texts ? I repeat, I do this , I do that? Why?

You really get vexed easily young man. You need to be more patient ok.

I shared screenshot as feedbacks so the said applicant can have a better view of his status and take appropriate decisions.

I am not earning salaries on Nairaland, South African Embassy or Home Affairs. So, I will refrain from any sort of unsolicited drama that will not add to my bank account.

My only concern is that you play alot of mind games and you are quite manipulative with your texts, so I am tempted to respond to you , but will desist further since it is now established to be your pattern to get at people who disagree with you.

You know I avoided you alot in France Visa Section when you were frequent with tantrums and being coercive.

You have started here again?

Tell me when I told you I had a visa rejection, you couldn't say anything , now again, you said I told people not to extend their visas.

Show us evidence and screenshot for these your recent claims.

I know you are a nervous person and always feel agitated.

Please maintain your lane henceforth and stop commenting on my posts ok.

This will be my last response to you anywhere on Nairaland.

Goodnight.

bro if your bank statement is not stamped on all pages it might cause rejections because not every time will bank be able to get back to them so stamping of all pages is still guaranteed
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by hunee: 10:45am On Oct 13
Exactly , so many factors. I remember another time when they sent a feedback and said all the pages of the bank has to be stamped. These are technicalities of visa applications which require careful attention
akinola12345:

I and Kel spent time here painstakingly informing prospects of these things. I attached another screenshot again to what you just said.

Visa applications is technical, carefully thought of and done and most of the time require one's dynamics and ability to be flexibile.

Thanks Akin.

Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Africankel(m): 1:32pm On Oct 13
You'll still get a visa even though you didn't use a previously granted one. However, in your next application, do not remain silent as to why you didn't use the previous one. Personally I've had two back-to-back visas I didn't use, I was still granted another upon reapplication.

At least, this works for SA. Some countries like Morocco frown at unused visas.

To anyone planning to apply for a Short stay Tourist Visa.
Maybe you should hold on as the DG of Home affairs has insisted that the adjudicators should not ask for more than required and he stated that documents needed for Short stay Tourist visas are :
- A statement outlining the purpose and duration of the visit
-A valid return airline ticket or proof of reservation
- Certified bank statements from the past three months showing proof of financial means.
They have been mandated to reflect it on their website.
Give then time to reflect this on their system for easier application.
That one of the sources :

Before dem ask where I see am.
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Zoey1: 2:40pm On Oct 13
Directive was given on 8th Oct, 2024.
As of today they have removed the “Foreign visa” tab.
Let’s hope they remove some more and give a seamless and speedy application.

Good afternoon KINGS. My application for tourist visa was granted today for me and my son. But the entry and expiry date on mine who is the main applicant is 15/12/24 to 18/01/25 and my son who is a minor is 12/01/25 to 18/01/25. Has anyone had this issue? How can I address it. Hello everyone,
Pls i got a notice that our for visa application to South Africa, a rejection has been selected due to an invalid yellow card but we should represent to the Director general for a review within 10 working days.
i have gone to the porthealth office where I was told they have data base loss etc long and short I paid to get another card, mw the previous card I have used before in 2022 at Australia point of entry and besides I took the vaccination et al so it wasn't fake.
Anyways I have sent a mail to hacc@dha.gov.za and some other emails of officers I saw on the website including the director general.
My question is has anyone had this experience and got the visa reviewed and granted?
Also do they respond to their emails at all? i have also tried their phone numbers, no one ever picks
Lastly any advice on what to do? we plane travelling as a family for Christmas

Someone had same issue last week.
And if that is the case, then an appeal won’t work because the card wasn’t actually verifiable.

Hello moderators. Salutations!

As I’m already registered for the current academic session, I want to ask if:

1. 1.5 - 2.2 million naira is a good bank balance for a study permit application for a 2 year Msc programme.

2. The South African Home Affairs will verify the current account balance or just the confirmation of the dates from the statement of account submitted within the 3-months highlighted.

3. I can spend a little from the current bank balance to sort certain needs.

I submitted my application at VFS Global in Lagos last week.

Pls note that I’m already registered for the first year of the programme while still here in Nigeria.

Thanks in anticipation.
