Considering the fact that many teams have landed in Uyo in the past without clearance issue, I find it hard to believe that the Libyan were denied landing permit...
U self reason am
same here...this matter is just tiring.

My main point is the Nigerians playing down the gravety of the event that happened to our boys in Libya, probably to seem different from majority of Nigeria or just to score some cheap point.

JUST IN: Libyan Football Federation is panicking after being asked by CAF to submit documents relating to the cancellation of the AFCON qualifying Group D match against Nigeria

If it’s taking CAF this long to arrive at a conclusion you sure the matter go still get head so?

Bro when a flight is on air, how long does it take to divert it's landing point if they were on air bound for PH how long will it take to call whatever tower to divert. The Libyans says it cost nothing than an "order from above call" to divert a plane even almost landing in Bengazi to AlAlqad. Do we still think there is no deliberate foul play on our side. There's always going to be contingency. Let's say there is a heavy storm while a plane is about to land in Ph will they not have easily looked for another nearest port to land. Why did we let them go to PH instead of initiating the flight to divert to uyo
so much so for Nigeria doing the right thing.. you want Nigeria to do the right thing but this is what you're saying.

So we should just divert the plane of the Libyans from their planed destination "PH" to "UYO"
on a very very normal circumstance?? is that not foolish? We all condemned the diversion of our plane which was on a descending path with limited jet fuel in Libya,

but here you are insinuating that Nigeria should have diverted the Libyans plane to UYO to justify the unjustifiable. o some nigerians Nawa!!!!

πŸ—ž Al-Kass, a Saudi Arabian media outfit, has revealed CAF's verdict on the Libya-Nigeria incident.

According to the media outfit, Nigeria will be awarded 3 points & 3 goals. For breaching CAF's statutes, Libya will be banned from playing at home for 3 matches, including a fine
this would be perfect.

But according to reports a committee have been set and would meet on Tuesday next week to deliberate on the matter and probably finalize on it that same Tuesday.. let's see how that goes.

have you read the statement from their federation? people that in their statement said our experience is not up to the 'bad' experience they experienced in Nigeria . Yeah they did this. They didn't even deny it neither did they put the blame on a parallel govt for our experience. They owned their action
my brother just allow some nigerians oh, just allow them..

Not surprised

How can you toy with NIGERIA
The giant of Africa
The symble of African football
A team that has on that plane
AFCON best player... William Ekong
Europa league best player... Ademola Lookman
German league winner... Victor Boniface
Infact the the whole team is stater studded
If not for injury Seria A winner and reigning African footballer of the year Victor Osimhen should also be part of the trip
And the next African footballer of the year in waiting Ademola Lookman is also there

A team that has made Africa so proud in the world and you think you can just joke with them

In fact Libya should be banned for bringing the game to disrepute

Who is Libya?
When did the even qualify for AfCON last
What is even there chance of qualifying for next year when they are at the bottom of the table

Who will even notice there absence if don't qualify and then imagine Nigeria not been there even CAF will lose

They should apologize and be banned

Tanimu makes the bench today for Crawling after the int'l break. Hope to see the maestro at least listed for Barnsley today, he would have unlocked the Libyan defence easily in Uyo. I hope the maestro continued wilderness us not a ploy by the Europeans to rob us of the chance of winning the world cup.

Yes to have rerouted their flight shouldn't be any problem. If we hai a bad weather in PH would they not reroute it elsewhere. And if genuinely they wanted them in uyo even while on air they was always gonna be a way. Same as when we were rerouted while we were almost in Bengazi with short fuel. It's all talks and messages. Once the pilot was on our airspace which we had 2 hours to have made the call for such diversion. The idea of landing them in Ph was not necessary.
