Listening to the gov of akwa ibom umo eno talking about his admiration of TINUBU and how his reforms transformed Lagos state.

Truth is most of these folks don't know LAGOS, they come in to Lagos and only see the high end parts of lekki,vi,ikoyi,mayb Ikeja and believe they've seen it all.

This makes them credit the so called TINUBU reforms.

Truth is the real Lagos is a huge mess.

Go anywhere apart from those places you'll be greeted with huge disappointment.

Private development actually made almost any other place livable in LAGOS ,otherwise, there's gross underdevelopment in LAGOS.

The so called TINUBU reforms are only benefit to the elite few.

Any governor or politician that admires and follows tinubus doctrine,just know that such governors are either pro- elite, anti masses governors or don't know the hell what they are doing or talking about.

Tinubus reforms never worked and his not working for the greater good of the people.

Tinubu is a thug who can only get to where he is in a country like Nigeria.

Lagos means different things to different people. You can say it's the most developed, richest and home to the most intelligent Nigerians. Yes, you are right.

You can also call it home to the poorest, most chaotic and most overrated place in the country. Yes, you are also right. So, the governor made his choice and he is in his right.

Lastly, only government doesn't develop anywhere because development is a collective responsibility...government, groups, organisations and individuals.

Tinubu opened up Lekki. The develop part of Lekki back then is not up to 10% of present day Lekki.

The Lekki free trade zone that was created by Tinubu, likely have more industries than each state in the south east. The Atlantic ocean that was spilling into VI for years, who stopped the mess by creating Eko Atlantic City? Tinubu and the APC is doing a good job in Lagos, more still needs to be done sha.

Sometimes when people talk about Lagos I laugh.
I will be like, is it not the same Lagos I stayed for years prior to 2023 when I had to relocate my family?
The vast majority of Lagos is made up of slums.
All the major roads are delapidated.
You can't go from oshodi to mile 2,
The whole of badagry expressway is a write off. Iyano Oba, tradefare, volks down to badagry is a mess
When it rains the whole town is flooded,
You leave your home by 4am and come back by 10pm.
Open dedication and rickety vehicles everywhere.
But when you hear people talk about Lagos ehn?

But it begs the question....if Lagos is mostly a shitthole, imagine how horrible other states are!! Tinubu is able to brag about the little he did because other governors were useless, to put it mildly

I'm even surprised that Lagos is still standing after holding 75% of ibos population and 30% Nigeria's in addition to the indigenous people, Yoruba. The fair thing to do is to cut 75% of allocations of the southeast and give it to Lagos, because Lagos is the nanny state for the ibos and it's not fair for them to get allocations and are still destitute in Yorubaland. Infact the entire Yoruba region is the nanny region.

LAGOS was built by all NIGERIANs and the tribe that contributed immensely to it's development are certainly IGBOs and other Regions

All the Agbado brains ranting above have relations in LAGOS but live in OYO.. OGUN.. KOGI.. KWARA.. EKITI.. etc..

This the most foolish comment of the year .

Despite being born and raised in Lagos, traveling home in December left me surprised by the level of development. The numbers of flyover along my route and the construction of rural roads is mindbogling.

Give it to Lagos if other states can develop at half pace Lagos is developing, your family wont be trouping to Lagos in search of greeners pasture
