IGR is a more pointer to the state economic prosperity when it comes to Nigeria states. You can quote me anywhere.

GDP with respect to Nigeria state is just an abstract thing. Because the value of good and services you produce in a state is not necessarily your state money and that won’t pay government revenue or power a state government when it comes to financial power.

We are operating a kinda unitary system where Ondo crude, even tho produced there, is shared by Borno state.

SE is an unproductive region. That IGR/FAAC data is the only revenue source to the government and without that money, no government activities will happen in any state. The other source is loans.
